| 63138710 | about 7 years ago | Is the gate still there? What bike routing app do you use?
| 63108174 | about 7 years ago | Exactly - See this example in Kirkland osm.org/query?lat=47.68196&lon=-122.19430#map=19/47.68185/-122.19396 We did a building and address import a while back and used this convention. FYI - Microsoft donated 125M building outlines for all of the US. They can be used on OSM. Technically it requires an import so if you are interested talk to me first or ask on Slack. We are working on a Bothell building and address import right now. It's using city data instead of Microsoft's. |
| 63112431 | about 7 years ago | Here are a couple of tips to mapping in OSM. First, instead of deleting an object and then redrawing it, just realign the existing object. That keeps the history of the object intact. Second, most buildings can be squared by right clicking on the outline and then either use the square icon or type an "s" to square it up. They look much nicer. I'd recommend going back over the houses you added and squaring them up. Let me know if you need help. I'll send you a message with more info on OSM.

| 63108174 | about 7 years ago | Regarding housenumbers. The convention we use is if the building has only one housenumber, the address is tagged to the building, if there are multiple addresses in the building we use individual nodes (points) for each address. What you did is okay, but search engines will probably not see more than one housenumber.

| 63102165 | about 7 years ago | Sorry - mapbox imagery was offset. ESRI shows the path correctly
| 63102364 | about 7 years ago | This doesn't fit the definition of a meadow. At best landcover=grass.
| 63102233 | about 7 years ago | Again this looks like a private house.
| 63102200 | about 7 years ago | This appears to be a residential area, not a park.
| 63102165 | about 7 years ago | Your path appears to go through the house. Is this correct?
| 62815029 | about 7 years ago | I've noticed you've been adding campsites with the name of hiker - biker. They actually sound more like the description not their name. As I understand the campsite is for places where vehicles aren't allowed. Would the camp_type tag be useful like camp_site=camp_pitch camp_type=hiker_biker be better?
| 63051034 | about 7 years ago | Tagging something an area=yes isn't very useful. Is it a park or playground? If so there a tags for those, and many more. I'll send you a message with some helpful links. Hope it helps. Let me know if you need more assistance.

| 62930791 | about 7 years ago | We don't use descriptive names, the tag you added is sufficient.
| 62930431 | about 7 years ago | We don't use descriptive names, the tag you added will take care of that.

| 62923692 | about 7 years ago | Thanks for adding the resort. I added a tunnel through it for the road.
| 62863726 | over 7 years ago | Do you realize there already is a node for the Wedgwood neighbourhood? node/150938107#map=18/47.68744/-122.29525. Also the wikidata item you referenced is for a pottery firm. See https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q595544. I'll send you some info on OSM that may help.

| 62684923 | over 7 years ago | thanks for adding the name
| 62678965 | over 7 years ago | Do you have a name of the park you can add?
| 57244515 | over 7 years ago | I just tried to revert - but they appear to have been removed. |
| 62618833 | over 7 years ago | We use un-abbreviated street names in OSM. (Software has a hard time unabbreviating.) In the iD editor, you can usually just use the drop down to get the street rather than having to type it in. I went ahead and fix it. Thanks for adding the coffee stand
