You can easily square your buildings by selecting the outline, and either typing an "s" or right click on the selected outline and selecting the square icon. Either way the buildings look nicer. I squared the houses you added.

There is no tag to describe the business. Even the description tag is vague. opening_hours is in the wrong format. uid is an invalid tag. Please refer to wiki.openstreetmap.org for help

If this edit was part of a hot task, it nice to leave the h#hotosm-project number on the changeset comment. It allows the team to pull reports on the edits.

@Tyritup - as you discovered on your second edit - the correct tag is landuse=residential. I fixed it. Also, it help not tying landuse with roads. It makes it real difficult later on to make changes.

I modified the building to fit the imagery. If you could add some detail to each of the building and other features of the apartments, it would look much nicer.

It appears that you added a building on top of an existing building. And the user before you added one large building when it should have been 6.

You changed the fuel station to a starbucks but kept the brand of Chevron and left it as just a roof. Is the Chevron gone? Did they replace it with a starbucks?

The name really isn't required. The Columbia River has a main channel, and the outer riverbank. The riverbank is part of a larger multipolygon with the name="Columbia River" Check out this wiki article on how to map riverbanks. waterway=riverbank

Usually we save edits in between geographical location, especially as Pauls say, when they span continents.

editing tip - the editor will give you nearby street names. Just use the drop down to pick the street name. Also - we use un-abbreviated street names. Reason - software has a hard time un-abbreviating.

Nice job on the houses!

I called the business - they are located in Snohomish, not UVillage. Please stop putting garbage in OSM.

57750905 over 7 years ago

Welcome to OSM. Just checking, but King County Parcel Viewer shows the street as 312th Place Southeast. Can you verify that it should be 218th Avenue Southeast? BTW - we spell out street names since software has a hard time with abbreviations.

The home will look nicer if you square the outline. Just select the outline, type an "s" or right click and use the square icon.

Can you add a tag to describe the business. For example office=employment_agency. See office=* for more options.

Ultimately we want routers to take people directly to their destination. It would also be nice if you can add capacity:disabled. We are doing work on a map for people with limited mobility. Having that info can help them out.
