Changeset When Comment

Is that really a park or just a recreation area for the school? Also since the school's landuse covers the entire area, the name is kind of redundant.

This app requires that I review everything as good or bad. There is no in between. When I mark it as bad, it may only be that it doesn't fit the OSM tagging scheme. I'll leave a changeset comment with what I found.

The building should match the roof line. Please correct. If they are separate buildings you can create a multipolygon to show them all as part of the church. Can you fix? Let me know if you need help.

It would be correct to merge the node with the polygon as a waterway=boatyard.

#TIP: square building by selecting the outline then just type a "q" - they will look more professionally done.

Is the resturant only 500 sqft? That seems small. Can you verify that it is correct?

This is a summary of the reviews you request. First, building should match the roof line of the buildings being added. Second, square the outline by selecting the outline then just type a "q" to look much nicer. And finally, we don't use descriptive names. Instead of name=Cabin I'd recommend building=cabin.

Can you fixed this buildings you added? I'll send you more info on OSM in a message.

I've reverted this changeset since it changes a bay to a beach.

To create a beach, follow the instructions at natural=beach. Basically you are mapping the sandy area next to the coastline.

#TIP: we don't use descriptive names in OSM. Just tag the feature. For example, building=yes or if you know the type of building you can tag it as building=house. For the water treatment feature I'm guessing it is a clarifier which is tagged as man_made=clarifier. See man_made=clarifier. I'll send you more info on OSM in a message.

You can easily create a multipolygon just by selecting the smaller feature inside of the woods + the woods then just right click and select the + icon to create a multipolygon. This will create a more accurate set of features.

I'm happy to help - just let me know.

I have so many edits, and I keep making mistakes so it's not a big deal. To remove just the business, use the remove icon next to the non existent features in the list of tags towards the bottom left hand side of the editor.

Or even easier, right click on the node or polygon the select the ⋁ to remove all but the address tags.

#TIP: we spell out street names in OSM. The reason is that software has a hard time unabbreviating.

It looks like you acidentally changed a landuse to a stream. Can you change it back to land use. The new stream you added looks great, you even added the culvert.
