Hi, what is the relation that you've deleted in this changeset?

121497899 over 3 years ago

Worth checking Strava's heatmap as it shows some heat on the trail, and you might want to connect the path to the two tracks :)

The arrows show the direction in which the road has been drawn, so when you add a one way tag it goes that way (you can reverse the direction if it's the wrong way).

Do you mean on the south side? If so it should be cycleway:right as the arrows (direction) on the way are pointing east.

node/3261581444 you've put this gate on the apex of a path but I'm assuming it is meant to be on one of the three paths off this connection?

hmm didn't expect this to cover such a large area, hope I've not messed up the A1 relation...

These changes around the A199/A1 have been reverted as there no access restrictions here.

No ill will, just I've had the same thought and investigated it before :)

From a quick look around various junctions, the signage doesn't really allow you to decide on trunk/primary as they often disagree with each other.

There are white signs coming off the M9 to the A8 https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=5714577045249570 (on Street View you can see these were green signs in 2013) - but at the roundabout exit there is a green sign.

At the Barnton junction there is a green sign on the east side which would seem to indicate the A90/A902 is trunk https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=303705991384867 but that is contradicted by a white sign at Maybury which points to the same road: https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=890379831691638

At Burnshot you have a white and green sign (the latter has now been replaced by white on Street View!) https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=530446831695644

So in short - I don't think these should be trunk in OSM...

This note can be resolved? note/2428873

Just read your forum post.
What have you based the changes on, as in, which particular road signs? Because for this section of the A8 for example, there are white signs off the M9 and a green sign at Maybury junction.
The trunk tagging in OSM matches Transport Scotland's trunk, as there are inconsistencies with the green/white signs in various places.

Couldn't help but notice you had added a few bicycle_parking=anchors tags in various places. I saw one here - https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=393846428407689 - normally tagged as "stands", is that what these anchors are?

Why did you delete the address node?

Hi Rob, where exactly are people wandering off onto the farm tracks - is it where the public footpath and track meets near this stile? node/780597320

Hi, welcome to OSM and thanks for the edit. Perhaps it would be better changing things so that only motor_vehicle=private is tagged here? Assuming that it's only private to vehicles.

119875514 over 3 years ago

I wondered whether to do that or mark it as private... (in the end I did neither!)

This car dealership was tagged as closed a month ago node/4051543912/history - have you surveyed it since then?

119856223 over 3 years ago

Reverted. You must not use Google Maps to make changes to OpenStreetMap.

119551538 over 3 years ago

Is there a particular reason why you've added a building on top of all the other buildings?

119414108 over 3 years ago

Thanks for adding this - changed it to bridge:name, then I thought I should add a bridge area as well.
