If you open the background settings (press B) in the editor, you can select "Esri World Imagery" from the list. This is more up to date imagery which shows some houses under construction.

As you are local then feel free to add other addresses, and any other completed buildings as well :)

Thanks. Agree with you when it comes to the National Rail stations, but on the other end of the spectrum is Glanyrafon which has no infrastructure and would seem to be a candidate to be a halt. Basically, what is the definition of a halt in the UK - is it only for use on miniature or narrow_guage railways?

You're right I did add the wrong wiki page, sorry, fixed now.
But should these really all be tagged as stations, given Glanyrafon has no platforms? Are you simply getting rid of the railway=halt tag?

However, if I've made a mistake feel free to correct me as you have the local knowledge.

If a business is permanently closed, the shop=* tag needs to be remove so it no longer shows up on the map. The name tag should really be changed to "old_name=" as well, same with other derelict buildings.

I noticed a few other things you might want to fix:

Did you mean to change it from allotments to attraction=water_slide...?
