Hi, welcome to OSM and thanks for adding Whinstone Place. I've updated and added some buildings and paths around here, from what I can see on the more up to date aerial imagery, named "ESRI" available in the editor's background options.

Well from that description I wouldn't say it's "unknown" - I've set it to a private gravel driveway! :)

Can I ask why you've set this to highway=road? way/480450073

Hi, is this perhaps better tagged as barrier=cycle_barrier instead?

Thanks for getting out and surveying the path! :)

Assume it's surface=asphalt?

Wondering if these two parts of Carlingnose Point reserve should be combined as a relation, to avoid duplication?

Thanks, I've added the building and pitch

Hi, this cycleway isn't connected to anything on the map. How do cyclists access it?

I assume this razed line wasn't meant to be tagged as a path since it goes through Tesco, so I removed the tag - free free to update way/300398934

Hi, just wondering why you added a fixme prefix to this building (and others)? way/715400079

Where does the bowling green name come from as I've not seen it when passing through the gardens?

Can you please explain why you've changed some roads to tertiary? Because these are not C class roads.

What is your source for this change?

If you go back into the editor, click the Help icon on the right hand side (or press H) and then "Start the Walkthrough".
Or in the middle top of the editor, select "Point" then click to position the point. In the left hand side you can then search for dentist and add further info.

Is there a dentist here?

Hi, is this cattle grid on both the path and track?

Just be careful when updating brands - this M&S was tagged as a supermarket so should've been upgraded to a foodhall, not the department store :-) node/6727701621/history

This is clearly not a town as no one is living here...

Dunfermline isn't a city though ;-) and neither is it an administrative entity in its own right.
In Scotland, councils are admin_level=6 (e.g. Fife Council), while community councils are admin_level=10 (there are around 10 within the Dunfermline area).

The wiki has a table detailing the different admin levels for each country osm.wiki/w/index.php?title=Tag:boundary%3Dadministrative&uselang=en-GB#10_admin_level_values_for_specific_countries
