I've changed them, see

Hi there!
You've created some ways with
highway="pedestrian=proposed"
Please use
highway=proposed + proposed=pedestrian
instead.

Hi Govannus,
please check way
way/394438009
What kind of traffic_sign is this?

36864977 almost 10 years ago

Hi Govanus,
please review:
1) a traffic_sign is mapped as a node, not a way, the highway tag is obsolete
2) in this context the direction tag shoud be "forward" or "backward", but it only makes sense when you use traffic_sign=* on a node of a highway

34841002 almost 10 years ago

I meant
barrier=central_reservation
as in the example that you referred to. That way has no highway tag, why do you think that it needs one?

34841002 almost 10 years ago

If you change it to barrer=* I see no problem.

36837521 almost 10 years ago

Yes, why not. There are quite a lot of tags to say that a highway is no longer usable,
abandoned, dismantled, disused,razed etc.
They are either used with highway= or as prefix xxx:highway=*
I don't know what matches here, I am not a local.

36837521 almost 10 years ago

Ah, I see. I did not know the in_service tag up to now. Does it mean that the road should be ignored by routing software?
I fear that will not work, better change highway=secondary to
disused:highway=secondary or maybe
highway=construction

Hi there!
You changed three roads from highway=unclassified to the unusual
highway=unset
Was that intended ? If you think that unclassified is wrong, please specify the correct type or use highway=road so that others can check. See also
highway=*

36837521 almost 10 years ago

Hi there!
What is meant with highway=clo ?
Was it a typo?

Hi there!
You changed a highway=path
to the unusual highway="cycle route" here.
Was that intended?
way/304087643
Maybe you wanted to change the relation?

highway=footway + footway=crossing
gemappt werden. Siehe auch
osm.wiki/DE:Key:crossing
viel Spaß beim Mappen weiterhin
Gerd

:-)

36815347 almost 10 years ago

Hi there!
You changed a highway=unclassified to highway=* here.
Please check ice_road=*
It suggests to use
ice_road=yes instead of surface=ice_road
and for the highway tag :"its value should reflect importance of the given highway. "
So I guess highway=unclassified was okay.

36627623 almost 10 years ago

hmm, so I suggest to remove the way, as we don't copy from other maps. Add it after your visit if it really exists. OK?

Danke für die Rückmeldung.
Nach meinem Verständnis passt dann eher
highway=abandoned or disused bzw.
osm.wiki/DE:Tag:highway%3Drazed
osm.wiki/DE:Tag:highway%3Dabandoned

Moin nochmal !
Dieser Weg ist immer noch highway=historic:

Hi Brian,

I noticed that you changed some roads from highway=redeveloped to highway=demolished, which is BTW also not well documented.
What about this remaining last one?

I don't see any progress here. What's your current opinion about this rarely used tagging?
