Danke für die Rückmeldung.
Nach meinem Verständnis passt dann eher
highway=abandoned or disused bzw.
osm.wiki/DE:Tag:highway%3Drazed
osm.wiki/DE:Tag:highway%3Dabandoned

Moin nochmal !
Dieser Weg ist immer noch highway=historic:

Hi Brian,

I noticed that you changed some roads from highway=redeveloped to highway=demolished, which is BTW also not well documented.
What about this remaining last one?

I don't see any progress here. What's your current opinion about this rarely used tagging?

36790185 almost 10 years ago

Hi there and welcome to OSM!
I've noticed that you mapped a road with
highway=main_road. This is very unusual,
I've changed it to highway=residential.
The old value unclassified was indeed wrong. See this wiki for more info:
highway=*
You have also mapped
addr:street=Albert Street
for this cinema:
way/393316821
I did not find a road with that name, please add it or correct the address.
The cinema should also be tagged with
amenity=cinema, see
amenity=cinema

Danke.

Thanks for the feedback. The wiki also documents highway=cycleway + cycleway=crossing. See the first sentences in the wiki:
crossing=*

Moin!

Hi there!
You used highway="Impasse des Bernards"
here, I've changed that to highway=service + service=driveway + name="Impasse des Bernards"
See
way/393285972
Bing doesn't show a way there, so I am not sure if I got that right.

Hi there!
What was meant with highway=passing_place
on a way? I guess this was a typo, so I changed it to track. See

Hi Emilio,
I've noticed a few nodes with highway=give_way + side=*,
e.g side=right or side=both
What does that mean ?
Is it about the position of the traffic_sign?
E.g. at this roundabout:

Hi there!
You used the deprecated tag highway=byway here. Was that intended ?

36734554 almost 10 years ago

Hi there and welcome to OSM!
You have created a few ways with tags like
highway=yes
or
road=secondary
or
Roads=yes
If you want to map roads, please use
highway, not road or Roads.
If you don't know the correct type of the road, please use highway=road.

highway=*

OK, thanks for the feedback :-)

Hi there and welcome to OSM!
You have used highway=crossing for some footways. Please note that those ways should be tagged
highway=footway + footway=crossing
The tag highway=crossing should be used for the node that is shared by the footway and the major road.

36765271 almost 10 years ago

I see. Another point:
access:bicycle=* should be bicycle=*,
access:psv should be psv=*
I think these tags were used long before the namespaces like maxspeed:forward=50 were invented.
See access=*#Examples

Hi there and welcome to OSM!
highway=footpath
is rarely used. Did you mean path or footway?

36765271 almost 10 years ago

Hi there!
The attribute highway=busway is rarely
used, was it intended ?
