OK, danke für die Rückmeldung, habe gerade gesehen, dass es da schon eine Siedlungsstraße gibt. Ich dachte, Du hättest damit nur den Typ der Straße angeben wollen.

Ich vermute, man könnte das irgendwie mit tags an dem entsprechenden Weg lösen, so was wie access:forward= .
Kenne mich aber mit indoor mapping nicht aus.

I think highway=pedestrian,area=yes is meant for areas where pedestrians like to walk. To me, this just looks like a paved
area which is not normally used.
AFAIK we don't map them as highway,
but I also have no good alternative so far.

to draw a line around a larger part of the junction. Anyhow,
that proposal is no longer active.

well, when you think that path doesn't match, why is footway used for the longer part? For me, path is a way that can be used by foot and one-track vehicles like moped,mofa, bicycle, maybe also by horse riders. The tag highway=virtual sounds might also mean something like
"unbuilt", "not found", "proposed" etc.
Thats why I think that you should not use
an undocumented type for a normal road.

I agree that most of it looks like a track.
The problem is that you have saved a combination of two different road types,
service AND track. That is not valid.
If you think that the complete way is a track, just set highway=track.
If the western part of it is a service road,
then split the way and give each part the correct type.
