please help me to understand:
Why do you add these tags for a
amenity=dentist node?
bicycle=yes
foot=yes
hgv=yes
highway=no
motor_vehicle=yes
oneway=both
It seems they are for the road ?
And what does oneway=both mean?

Danke :-)

please review:
the tag indoor=door was later changed to highway=door by
@mister-viper
It seems that was all this user ever did.
I am not sure if I like the idea of mapping doors at all, but I am pretty sure that they
are not highway=*. In my eyes,barrier=door matches much better.
The name=* tag seems to mean the room, not the door?

please review node/2275292345:
It is tagged highway=weighbridge.
Is this meant for vehicles like amenity=weighbridge?
See amenity=weighbridge

sorry, some of them seem to be special.
node/3246114477
A node in the middle of the roundabout.
This tagging is only used in a small area
around Peterborough.
I did not yet find why this doesn't appear elsewhere in the UK, means, how other mappers are tagging it.

yes, I also think that, but this tagging is only used in a rather small area in UK.
I'll ask those mappers...

please review node/3444369211
node/3444369211

It is tagged
highway=living_street
junction=roundabout
lanes=2
I guess you wanted to change one of the roads?

please review node
node/3204688856
Maybe you wanted to change the way to
highway=living_street ?

20123823 about 10 years ago

please review:
node/1670199508,node 1670199505
are tagged
highway=living_street
maxspeed=30
I guess what you mean is that the short
part of the way between them should
be tagged with maxspeed=30 ?

thanks for the feedback.
I think I wait for your edits. Bing doesn't show cleary which part is higher, also I don't know if conveying is forward/backward or both

32915954 about 10 years ago

and the answer to my question is ?

28576022 about 10 years ago

okay, thanks. I've reverted my changes
to highway=junction ways.
There seems to be a similar problems with roundabouts, I found quite a lot of
highway=trunk_junction" nodes in the
centre of roundabouts with highway=trunk. They all have a ref=*,
but I think this ref=* tag should be on the roundabout way(s) ?
See node/3246114478

28576022 about 10 years ago

thanks for the hint, shift+crtl+i works well :-)
I don't see where you refer to a node ?

28576022 about 10 years ago

okay, I'll revert the change(s) for ways with highway=junction for now.
Reg. the link: I know this but I found no simple way to get the link when working in JOSM, so it always means a few copy+paste actions to produce it.
Do you have a hint ?

18917551 about 10 years ago

bitte prüfen:
way/121085839 has das unübliche Attribut
highway=traffic_calming,
sonst nichts.
In Luftbilden kann ich nicht erkennen, um was es sich da handelt.

28576022 about 10 years ago

I am cleaning up the elements tagged highway=*, as they are likely to confuse
routers.

28576022 about 10 years ago

hmm, that way has no name tag, and sorry,
seems I've changed it already to area:highway.

29854708 about 10 years ago

okay, done

29854708 about 10 years ago

what do mean with revert to bridleway?
the original mapping was highway=gallop

Should I revert the change?
