The Latin script is not always the same, for place names - in German, Münich is Munich, but both English and German are in the Latin script. So the same could be with Oromo and English (for example, Adama is "Adaamaa" in Oromo).

You are adding Latin script to over 90% Amharic-speaking cities. Please add Oromo, instead of English.

"Shashamane" is in English, not Oromo - Shashemene is the name in Oromo.

Meneharia isn't a locality - a locality is a non-populated place.

Palolo, is "Hawassa" in English or Sidamo? If it isn't in Sidamo, or Oromo, maybe it should be left out?

I think it may wreck ancient OSM heritage, in fact. They're the first nodes in the database; they're all very special :)!
