over 6 years ago | The path got fixed to Esri World Imagery in my latest changeset (#69786488), see changeset/69786488. Thanks!
over 6 years ago | Thanks, I'll work on fixing this after I (at least attempt to) fix the long-standing Crothers Woods problem...
over 6 years ago | Thanks for bringing this to my attention :). So let me get this straight... Andrew edited it to match Bing imagery, then you edited it to match Esri imagery, and then I edited it to match Bing imagery?
almost 7 years ago | (... Desperately awaiting a response...)...
almost 7 years ago | So change them then, or have a discussion about it on the mailing list or the forum if it's too hard for you to do. There should be someone able to do it.
almost 7 years ago | St. Thomas, ON, Binghamton, NY, Penticton, BC, etc. are all tagged as cities, yet they are much smaller than Richelieu. You have to be consistent.
almost 7 years ago | You made a suggestion that Kitchener should be tagged as a town, when it has always been tagged as a city (in all of the near 11 years of its existence on OSM): node/260034778/history.
almost 7 years ago | Maybe you could try having a discussion about this at the forum, you know, instead of reverting the hard work I did...
almost 7 years ago | Maybe you could try having a discussion about this at the forum first, you know, instead of reverting all of the hard work I did...
almost 7 years ago | You made a suggestion that Kitchener should be tagged as a town when it has always been tagged as a city (in all of the near 11 years of its existence on OSM): node/260034778/history.

almost 7 years ago | Wikipedia calls it a city too.
almost 7 years ago | See the city's official website at http://www.villedemont-tremblant.qc.ca/en/. It says "© 2016 - 2019 City of Mont-Tremblant".
almost 7 years ago | The problem is that neighbourhoods render very small, so by mapping the wards' labels it'll be easier to see and identify which area you're looking at. Also we'll be able to view the ward's name without having to use query features (or zooming in to look at the border markings).
almost 7 years ago | Thanks, DannyMcD :)! Great work!
almost 7 years ago | Additionally: At 10:36:35 UTC, OntarioEditor changes a place from a quarter to a suburb: node/33364832/history. Around 7 minutes later, moe_fockler does the same thing: node/6233223378/history.
almost 7 years ago | The user changed their name to "IllinoisEditor". Sounds a lot like "OntarioEditor", doesn't it?
almost 7 years ago | And just 14 seconds after I made the above comment, user 71XRZ created a changeset: changeset/66616776. Coincidence much?
almost 7 years ago | Also, see user [71XRZ](@71XRZ/), who posted the same comment as VMeyer: [changeset/65361464](https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/65361464), [changeset/65979451](https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/65979451). See also user [5XWarrior](@5XWarrior), who restored multiple of VMeyer's nodes.
almost 7 years ago | I had a few other things to say, but I ran out of space, so I'll say them now. This edit created separate nodes for Lindsay, Rockland, and Trenton, far enough from their respective city's nodes that they will be visible enough from a reasonable zoom level, as DannyMcD wished. If the user disagrees with this edit, then maybe I'll go to the talk-ca mailing list, or the forum. Just maybe. I generally try to avoid it as it would be time consuming for me to try to stay updated about what's going on there all the time. Although I think one thing's for sure, I don't believe I'll be editing these cities again any time soon.
