The speed and weight of traffic makes this unofficial crossing unviable. It is life threatening,bordering on the suicidal. Its that bad.
Traffic from the north is partially obscured adding to the hazard when approached from New Barn Farm Lane. Access to London Road is through a "hole in a hedge" and then over a traffic barrier.
OSMand and cycle.travel are routing cyclists through this path. In my opinion this unauthorized route should be removed from the map before someone dies on this unfeasable crossing.
