Rough area of Boltonfellend - to be improved, buildings added etc, but this hamlet was completely missing previously.

Mapnik renderer priorities the quarry landuse over anything else. Since the quarry landuse is no longer applicable (peat extraction ended in 2013) and the area is now under restoration as a national nature reserve I'm removing the quarry land use.

Area was declared a National Nature Reserve in 2019

Update status for Bolton Fell peat extraction site to disused. Peat extraction ended in 2013 at the request of Natural England. It is now being restored to health through water management and replanting of moss.

Correct burial ground, it's not the entire field but the small walled area in the adjacent field. It was a small Quaker community burial ground. This is one that even the Ordnance Survey have got wrong.
