I'm not going to make trouble for other editors in osm, but i just can't find that editor guide.

Actually I can't find that webpage that list out all rules of editing osm.

you just say making a mess or mske wrong things I can't understand it. Please list out some examples

I've checked that cars can't go into the trunk road immediately at the interchange. So i extend the road until the place that the cars can go in the trunk road

ok let me explain it further. chingchueng road after the intersection near mei foo park, the left side road is highway=trunk_link but not highway=trunk. So i think when ching chueng road meets the second intersection(to route 3), the right side should be highway=secondary roads instead of continuing with highway=trunk_link.

oi shun road was similar case but have difference here. oi shun road ends and the road linking to highway is called eastern corridor. but kwai chung road is same name with 2 totally different roads

but i will say kwai chung road is a spevial case. it is highway=motorway in kwai chung section, but in route 5 section it is highway=trunk. therefore we can describe it as highway=trunk_link(my suggestion) and highway=motorway_link(your suggestion).

ok later i go to change it. but that road is service road but not trunk link. there are fences stopping the cars to use this road. Seems that this road is for fire trucks only.

umm...I need to explain it for you.
In exit 12 of route 1, when it meets sha tin wai road the link should be ended instead of continuous. As normally people wont leave the highway and immediately enter it again, and I am just observed from other similar case in different places of hong kong. I just think trunk link acrossing sha tin wai road is inaccessary. Also , sha tin road near yuen wo road should be secondary road instead of trunk link, because refer to the roadsign there, it says this road is to IVE (sha tin) instead of going to highway.

I just think lai po road is not highway and the link is too long only. Nevermind, thanks for your reminder.

Also I found that there is a big problem. Some editor cuts the trunk link when there is a intersection after leaving the trunk road, even thought that intersection is for bus to leave the bus terminal. But refer to your changes in kwai chung, many trunk link after meeting intersection, still remain unchanged. Take ching chueng road as an example. After leaving route 7 the trunk road, the trunk link links to ching chueng road towards kwai tsung container terminals and route 3. But after meeting the intersection to route 3, you still edit ching chueng road as trunk link. Please explain if it is your format or the other editors also didnt follow the rules of OSM.

I understand what you are saying, but i think trunk link maybe more suitable for kwai chung road, as it is a fork between kwai chung road (route 5) to kwai chung road (一級道路)。

ok I will use JOSM but still i found a bunch of wrong data. Many roads should not be trunk link but you still added it back.
