Hello @fititnt,
About your request, I have no clue how to recover these POI.
My work on this project is validating, (in short) meaning, solving issues, correcting mappings. Squaring buildings etc.
I never remove POI, or text added to buildings except when they are obvious nonsense, like generic names, hashtags of the mapper etc.

I advise you to ask this on the specialized forum like
