Kudos on the South East substation (S.A.) layout (along with the other ones you have done). It looks great.

No problems and welcome. The ability to add cycle lanes to roads have been there for a while while the editor you are using has just recently exposed this in the standard list of fields on the left. Keep up the mapping and check out the OSM wiki cycleway=* when you need some guidance.

Good work Dave! Keep the local knowledge fresh, even during winter ;) There is a strava plugin that might be useful for confirmation if you want to validate. The edit is probably broken for ever sadly. Keep the rubber side down https://strava.github.io/iD/#background=Bing&map=15.60/146.8185/-43.0793

Hi Ray,
Excellent work on all the foot paths and buildings around East Ringwood. We need more people doing footpaths!

Hi @Barky2000,
Thank you so much for doing the additions to Port Mc which look detailed and excellent.

Just a query on the cycle path at fly point. Is the cycle way separated from the road and is it one way or both ways?

Paths and roads should connect so that the navigators can navigate correctly. If the cycle path is part of the road surface then it may be better to use the bicycle lane for the road which are available in the ID editor in the list of fields on the left hand side. The road already has cycle lanes marked so your work might be a double up in this instance.

All the best and keep plugging those gaps.

Hi Slogfester. I have added some tags to your node for the bicycle counters. It doesn't really matter imho if it is a pole or overhead but the tags you could consider are
man_made=monitoring_station
recording:automated=yes
monitoring:bicycle=yes
monitoring:pedestrian=yes (Not currently in use). Thanks for updates and keep the rubber side down on your travels!

Well done on all the changes around Katoomba over last few days. Some of the best accessible additions I have seen.

Hi Rocky, I would like to consider reverting this change (or at least the NE lake) please as well as adding intermittent=yes as I believe this would be a better way to map it.. I am happy to revert for you if you are happy for me to do it.

Beat me to it Swavu. Finding https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-suspicious?country=3&hours=96&tsearch=&mappingdays=50&anyobj=t&comp=%3E&value=10&action=d&obj=n&filterkey=#4/-27.61/134.52 a great tool

Thanks for doing the remainder of the HV line to Pine Creek.

Great work on the minor power lines - It can drive you mad working out where the next pole is.

Hi Leon, There is a lot of overlap of residential, commercial and national park around Sassafras. My house is part of it and it certainly isn't classified as natural =wood. Any chance of reverting this or explaining the logic please?

Hi TheSwavu, I have just run a local poll on facebook and the names mentioned were
40 Acres
Nicholas Paddock
Horse(s) Paddock (from the younger generation)

When originally adding this area I did look at moving boundaries but I was worried about copyright issues as well as being a large complex area in a semi built up area - so I parked that idea.

I am going to rename it to 40 acres-Nicholas Paddocks with an Alt_name tag of Horse Paddock.I might even look at moving the np boundary. As a side note, it is fire protection from any bushfire below the grassed area so that it doesn't get into the old Sherbrooke forest over the road.

Hi Yarilla,
This has always been known as the 40 acres paddock. Happy for the change to the open meadow but the local name is 40 acres, well since the 1960's anyway. Can you please revert the name change or explain the upgrade to 100ha

Happy with that although it is hard to recognise what it is when displayed. Feel free to amend this

ID doesn't validate all that well - if at all so what I do is a batch and wait for Osmose and keepright and then fix any issues.
