Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. You have added "Voradep Road" to existing road name "SSNIT Road", is this the new name? And alternative name or which? Kindly clarify or fix.

Hi Welcome to OpenStreetMap, kindly use title case for names eg. Galave Street instead of GBALEVE STREET.

Also kindly don't select tags in StreetComplete if you are not sure about what they mean.

Please don't assume names too if you are not sure about the names and can't see it on street signs, etc.

Hi, thanks for mapping. When you map `building`=* there's no need to add a landuse tag, in this case `landuse=residential` and `building=residential`, example way/1327085920

You can also see the possible values / tag combinations that can be used by visiting the OSM wiki page for the key/tag, e.g. for house=* house=*

Hi and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

The name of features should be their name not a description of what they are. You can read more about names at name=*

`natural=tree` tag already indicates this is a tree, there are other supporting tags that tell if it's a mango tree, coconut tree, etc, take a look at natural=tree

Also mapping of trees that are of least importance might be a bit too much but doesn't mean you should not map them.

I hope this helps you to fix the trees mapped here with descriptive names.

Hi Sam, can you take a look Duaboni 1 from way/1335766401 to confirm node/2164260850

159340498 about 1 year ago

Hi, can you confirm if this the location for Duaboni 1 way/1335766401 ? The same location seems to be at node/2164260850

Thanks for clarifying

Hi,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap, using only hashtags that do not say what you have mapped or done in this changeset, it is also not helpful to yourself and other mappers. See how to write a Good changeset comments osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments

Are the names of the areas eg. way/1335766399 abbreviations? Else use Title case eg. Kumasi Road instead of KUMASI ROAD. See osm.wiki/Names#Good_practice

When mapping close ways such as landuse and buildings, be careful not to connect/attach them roads.

Hi Zuliatu,
Thanks for mapping. Kindly download existing data before adding new ones to avoid overlapping and duplicate features as in this case. I have deleted all duplicates from this changeset.

Hi Johnson,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap and thanks for mapping. "Bing aerial imagery" is very out-of-date in most parts of Ghana, kindly use "Esri World Imagery" which seems to be more recent. You can always compare Bing/Esri to see which more recent before using either to add new data into OSM.

Also zoom in enough to see existing objects before adding new ones to avoid overlapping and duplicate features.

Further more it's not necessary to add your name to the changeset comments. Find out about Good changeset comments at osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments

If you have any further questions here are OSM Community channels => https://openstreetmap.community/?map=7.90109,-1.15841&zoom=5.00

Happy Mapping.

Hi, data in OpenStreetMap should be verifiable. Unfortunately the maxspeed=30 is not.
You can see what the speed limit is at https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=5.551382553813923&lng=-0.19400795959847983&z=19.9&pKey=517473239420891&focus=photo

Hi, you seem to have mapped multiple roads with 100 km/h, can you clarify why?

155907732 about 1 year ago

Hi, how sure are you that these roads [1][2] have posted speed limits of 100 km/h ? Can you explain?

2. way/112895899/history/16

Hi, thanks for mapping. Avoid mapping floating/island roads that do not connect to nearby ways.

The highway=unclassified tag is not the best to use here, take a look at all possible values and their descriptions for the highway key highway=*

Hi, thanks for mapping, I don't think these are steps way/1309166853 , if you are not sure about what a tag means please look at the wiki page, in iD editor you can click on the "i" to see further details when selecting.

Hi, thanks for mapping. Always ensure that roads a connected to nearby roads as roads are actually connected on the ground and not floating.

Hi, thanks for mapping, kindly zoom enough to see existing objects before adding new one to avoid duplicates and overlaps. Also avoid attaching the building nodes to roads.
