| 102144073 | over 4 years ago | Hello and welcome to OSM, Mangini It looks like you are adding building addresses but this is not the proper way. Currently you are adding tourism apartments (i.e. apartments that can be rented to tourists) which is not right. For a proper example you can check way/224329415

almost 5 years ago | The description should be "Added some natural areas in Lyulin 6"
almost 5 years ago | If they are connected to drains, shouldn't they be tagged with waterway=ditch or waterway=drain?
| 100166661 | almost 5 years ago | It looks like the fixes have rendered. You can see them here
|
almost 5 years ago | Thanks for telling me about these mistakes. I've just fixed them. The only thing that I didn't fix is the first island that you mentioned since it wasn't visible on any imagery. I've also spotted another mistake which I will try to fix now.
almost 5 years ago | I just submitted a post on the Italian forum. I will wait until it gets approved and get feedback before continuing with the changes.
almost 5 years ago | It looks like I've forgotten to do that. Where can I write to the Italian community?
almost 5 years ago | I haven't introduced this schema. The problem wouldn't even exist if by creating the new schema, the old one was deprecated. Unfortunately it wasn't done, but if it doesn't get done now it won't get done.
almost 5 years ago | This is what we are trying to solve. We want to remove waterway=riverbank in order to not have duplicate water schema. I don't see where is the problem.
almost 5 years ago | Are there any other countries that are guarded by people like you? Are there any projects except yours that rely on this exact tagging and doesn't want to support the newer standard? I don't think that any company or project that doesn't want to improve over time will not survive for a lot of time. Even the governments upgrade their systems and scrap older technology.
almost 5 years ago | The only data consumer that doesn't want the change is you. The new schema does not have any advantages FOR YOU. The world DOES NOT spin around you or Lithuania. I do not enforce these changes since anyone can revert anything if they so desire. I don't know who are you referring by "we", but I'm pretty sure that enforcing 15 years old policy isn't very professional. Also the fact that you have an account that is made before mine doesn't mean anything.
almost 5 years ago | These data consumers won't be here for a lot of time if they haven't changed anything in 15 years. If things don't change, this project will become even bigger chaos. Also you aren't the person to tell me what to do or not to do.
almost 5 years ago | There could be things that I have missed and there could be things that I can't fix since the imagery is not the best in some places. About your last question: it's not my decision. It is a project ran by another user. The goal is to unify the tagging system so that data consumers don't have to deal with different sets of tags. Also the existence of two way to tag the same thing thing is not necessary and generally decreases the quality of the data.
almost 5 years ago | I see that you haven't seen what I've done in my changesets. I fix the numerous mistakes that were made years ago and no one has fixed them (like disconnected ways, accidentally moved nodes in ways, duplicated ways/nodes etc.).
almost 5 years ago | natural=water + water=river is also perfectly working tag. Why wouldn't you want to use it?
almost 5 years ago | But you are fixing stuff that are not broken..
almost 5 years ago | Since when "guarding" a country from other editors is considered good for OSM?
almost 5 years ago | How am I breaking "perfectly working tags" and what even is "perfectly working tags"? There is no such definition in the wiki.

almost 5 years ago | Hello EuxeinosPontos, It looks like the streams that you've mapped don't exist according to Mapillary. I think that it would be better to delete them. Regards, Dimitar155
