Wegbeheerder Waterweg is Tata Steel. Nieuw toegangspoort. De Waterweg ontsluit bedrijven terrein Beverwijk West-III. Bestuurlijk ooit vastgelegd met het bestemmingsplan Bussiness Park IJmond (Noordgebied). Slechts een bedrijf heeft zich daar gevestigd. Sinds kort is de weg aan de openbaarheid onttrokken en heeft Tata Steel hier een toegangspoort met intercom geplaatst. Aanleiding was oa dat de weg gebruikt werd voor straatraces.

Sinds kort is de Wilgenhoflaan, tussen Huiderlaan en Galgenweg éénrichtingsverkeer geworden. Er staat op de Galgenweg een bord eenrichtingsverkeer.
