HelLo. I am Dato Gogishvili from Tbilisi, Georgia. I am a Human Geography, hold a postgraduate degree in Human Geography. I graduated Tbilisi State University in 2011 and did bachelors degree there before in the same field.

I work for NGO called JumpStart Georgia (previously known as OMC - Open Maps Caucasus). We did a huge project of mapping Georgia and creating opensource data that is now live on jumpstart.ge in the data section and open for everyone. I am a GIS analyst and a project manager here.

I am also a founding member of an research-based ngo - Soviet Past Research Laboratory - www.sovlab.ge - working on research and rethinking of the soviet past of Georgia.

I've been contributing to OSM for several month, though the work I did in OMC project of mapping (which is quite a lot of mapping and managing regional groups)is also imported in the OSM.

I know nearly all mapping oriented people in the town (actually they are quite few) so you can get in touch with me if you are interested in certain issues connected with OSM, mapping etc.
