There's now a protected bike lane on the West side of Willowdale Ave as it approaches Sheppard Ave. The protected bike lanes on Sheppard are still under construction.

There are raised curbs between the footpaths in Dell Park and the streets that surround it. Therefore, the footpaths should not be connected to the streets, but to the sidewalks instead.

According to Strava's global heatmap this is a fairly popular shortcut. It doesn't look like there's a precisely defined route yet, though.
