Hi
I'm struggling to see the point of this tag. If a renderer ignores nodes they'll ignore a node with this tag on it.
Which "map processing applications" do what you claim?

Thanks.

Hi
I've reverted your changset as the bollards are often removed to allow vehicle access when other entrance is blocked due to filming, concerts etc.

Hi
There can't really be a situation where there's both a bridge & tunnel as you've mapped here:
way/765173089#map=19/51.46054/-0.98605

This section was already tagged accurately as a bridge so I'm unsure why you amended it?:
way/765173085#map=19/51.46150/-0.99358

Although you didn't create it, this doesn't need to be a bridge. From the aerial imagery it appears the road is passing through the supports of the viaduct

Hi
You doubled up on platforms here:
relation/10556134#map=19/55.81009/-4.27377

There's no need to add highway=footway to platforms as there primary purpose is for people to walk on them - it's implied.

@Someone Else
I updated the other National Parks recently & the world appears to still be turning. I think the primary tag to cover all, & then sub-tag to list specific types is a much more adaptable schema. It's similar to 'natural=water, water=*' although I think protected_area=*' would have been more desirable than 'designation=*'
I've tweaked your OP query to include 'national_scenic_area' which is specific to Scotland
https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/PSI

I'm unsure why the some of the designation values are capitalized with spaces. OSM convention is, unless they were names, they should be lowercase & underscored. I think they should be converted.

You removed a school tag:
way/211819343
And you've created a second 'Twickenham Stadium' label

I believe it would be easier to revert this changeset.

77448235 almost 6 years ago

Hi
You've removed a primary tag describing what it was, but not replaced it with any alternative. Most are redrawing them as polygons tagged with landuse=farmyard.
node/3167602235

Why have you changed this from a bus stop to railway station?
node/469767962

Again you've removed a primary tag & not replaced it. Plus you've added an unnecessary area tag.
way/318520476

Is The Palm Centre the actual name of the wood or a shop?
way/617620272

You've misspelt Twickenham plus there's already a Twickenham Stoop Stadium tag

Hi
Thanks for the notes on colour.

https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/PLB
It's lead to situation of there now being at least 18 different relations for NCN 1 (and that excludes links (1)). It's lead to error & confusion Note how their tags vary. One of the main reasons for the introduction of relations was to easily tag it once & apply to the whole relation. Some are nested 3 deep (1992599 > 75880 > 10564435) I'm unaware of the benefits of that.

I see no advantage in alternate routes being given unique relations.

Hi Mac'
Could you clarify the significance of the colours tag?

You've created new NCN 1 relations. What is their purpose?

Hi
Quite a while ago it appears you created a polygon city boundary around Carlisle. Can you remember what it was based on? Other administration boundaries, perhaps?

Hi again
A small problem You tagged the new sections of NCN4 with 'super relation' relation/1318931

This contains the three main routes, split to make them more manageable. Most websites would time out when trying to list each way.

The one you require is 'Western 1318930'

Thanks Owain
I removed a couple of sections under the road A4223 that still had NCN4 references.

I'm confused by your 3rd point. It's this path, highlighted white, that I'm talking about.

Roads with restricted vehicle access are best tagged with:
access=*#Access_time_and_other_conditional_restrictions
How many bike racks are there? If there are four, the capacity should be doubled to eight.

Apologies, the first link should be:

68988618 almost 6 years ago

Hi Mac'
You created this proposed NCN 5 Rel:
relation/123318#map=17/51.61142/-1.24549

Where does the path go currently?

relation/123318#map=17/51.61142/-1.24549

79213373 almost 6 years ago

It fits well with your previous 3 blocks for the same reasons.

78745325 almost 6 years ago

Hi Owain
Could you take a look at a few of your edits:
Some old bits of NCN4 have been left behind
relation/1318930#map=19/51.60192/-3.34187

Does NCN4 go along this separate way or is it on the parking aisles?
way/757973438#map=19/51.60173/-3.34178

On the other side of Catherine Street you deleted a path. Shown Light red at the right hand side here:

Hi
You must be frequently "low on memory".@JayCBR/history

Surgeries & Gyms are not residential.

This is a city centre through road not a living street

and that surface definitely isn't cobbles.

Hi
What was incorrect with the way these roads were tagged previously?

79213373 almost 6 years ago

Hi
Please add a descriptive comment to changesets so your intent is clear.
Many of these edits appear counter what's on the ground.
Why have to tagged this as residential when no one lives along it
way/84302236
Why have you amended this road to 'living street'?
way/23543004
Are you sure the the ways you've re tagged a cobbled surface actual are?
