Hi
Welcome to OSM. Nice house detailing.
One point- If possible we try to amend existing objects, rather than delete them, as it retains their edited history.

Hi
Do you know if the NCN diversion is still in place & if the cyclepath is the full length of the road? (Images are inconclusive)

@rskedgell Ah, well if that's the case, that is /really/ poor interpretation by komoot.

@komoot. Can you explain (preferably on Talk-GB forum) what in-house plans you propose to instigate to ensure this cock-up doesn't occur in the future?

111443049 over 4 years ago

@rskedgell
You've lost me. The two ways in this changeset have not had such tags. Komoot appear to be misinterpreting highway=path as bicycle compliant.

You're original looks good.
For the second: osm.wiki/Relation:site

Relations were only invented to enable mapping when using just ways & nodes weren't sufficient. Regrettably there's a growing feeling that using relations should be the default standard & as you're testify it gets confusing.

The iD editor was meant to be a clear, simple editor for beginners. Something appears to have gone astray.
It no even attempts to validate, but again, regrettably, presents them as items that are definitely in need of correction, rather than suggestions which require further investigation.

@ Content Complaint (komoot) You need to rewrite your software so it doesn't make fake interpretations.

Hi
railway=station are mapped as single nodes in the UK. One tag per station.
there can be multiple building=train_stations per station.

Hi
Could you take a look at your relation creations please.
You appear to have created three separate outers that could just be one outer with multiple inners.

I'm unsure if any of the the relations are required. You've made exclaves taking the playground areas outside the park.

Hi
Can you take a look at your edit.
you've created multiple, unnecessary mutli-polygons,
At least one of them renders areas of grass as buildings!

The details for hotels with grounds, goes on the boundary polygon, similar to schools, as hotels can have multiple buildings.

A private road can have a name.
All of rivers road is private.
I've made it all a driveway

Hi
What was this platform used for?

Please don't remove area tags from platforms. They're still required for rendering.

OSM's not a dump for external databases. The edubase refers back to data that's more accurately maintained than schools in OSM.

Hi
To check, are all 4 platforms in use by the public?

110072008 over 4 years ago

Note: "The area in which the game is played, often defined by a white line" < Cricket pitches are oval, which is how I had mapped it previously.

There's no "duplication". Sports pitches are mapped within recreation grounds.

The Recreation ground is not used solely by cricket as there is a bowls pitch & also contains pavilions & parking.

leisure=pitch is for specific sports areas ie within white lines, which is why I created the cricket oval Other pitches can be added & overlapped, if necessary.
Note, your edit left behind loads of empty nodes.

Hi
What sport is played on this size/shape?

This is not the shape of a cricket pitch
