What purpose does showing this footpath serve? In urban areas it's a given that there are footpaths. If it's necessary, why isn't a footpath shown on the other side of this road (which also exists)?. This is unnecessary clutter on the map IMO.

Highway=path is probably insufficient. Much better highway=footway. Otherwise it is good for bikes (which this path is not).
