Thanks for the "seamark" suggestion; I'm not familiar with cranes and then I'll take some time to read the wiki in order to understand the seamark tag.
Talking about the "crane:note=fixme" tag used in those nodes, it looks to me a little bit confusing, wouldn't be better to replace it with "note=*" where * explains that crane nodes need the others tags listed here (man_made=crane) ?

Hi Nautic; I've seen that you've added few cranes in this changeset and all the crane nodes contain the "crane:note=FIXME".
Someone opened a note (note/593924) asking for an explanation of that tag; could you please explain what does need to be fixed?
I've found 31 cranes in the Liguria Region, some in Savona, some in Genova, some in Imperia and Sanremo
