Ciao Franco, occhio però perchè questo tratto way/150802613/history è un sentiero, volgarmente chiamato singletrack dai ciclisti; i veicoli a motore non ci passano neanche volendo, la larghezza è < al metro. Immagino ti tu sia confuso con la sterrata appena ad est.

My changeset is the clear demonstration that everything visible will be added back by someone else. Its also very likely that the other half has been well approximate by me. Last but not least, road was already on map, with pretty much the same geometry as the one that I've added yesterday.

Hi. Imagery used for this changeset is correctly shown above. Esri Clarity shows approximately 50% of the road. Yeah, I should have probably added a fixme="approximate geometry" to the road, but I can confirm I didn't use any other imagery source.
I've also noticed that the guy complaining about this road being on our map, has actually removed the same road without any good reason. We have footways and service roads mapped inside the White House fenced area, I don't see why we shouldn't have this one on the map. I do reckon we have to add a access=private tag if access to the road is actually private, but it's not fair to add all those fancy names to this road and the other two I deleted yesterday. To my eyes, the guy deleted useful data (the old road also had a name, which is not anymore on the map) and also added few road sections which were incorrectly tagged.
I do understand you are probably just trying to understand what's going on here, but I think I'm not the one to investigate on.

Just noticed that also this building doesn't see to be 100% correct. "Casa Davarda" seems to be the real name, not "Dawarda", also that 711W doesn't make any sense in Italian. Where did you get that name from? are you sure it's correct? Whenever you find yourself drawing buildings, please make sure you square them, this one needs a bit of adjustment, as of now its shape is a bit badly shaped.

This track instead ( way/668408627 ) seems fictional as it's not visible al the available aerial imagery. What's your source for that? during winter months it does often happens that snow gets dug in order to create trails for pedestrian and this could be the case, but I suspect that track doesn't exist during snow free months.

@dvdzero, if you're a local here and you are sure your "version" of the supermarket is correct, I'd agree to partially revert this changeset.

Hi, thanks for your contribution. Do you also know the name of this road? That would be a useful info to add.
Also, it does seem to me like 9 out of 10 of the buildings along that road are industrial buildings, not residential ones, for that reason the road might actually be converted to highway=service road.

Di nulla. Temo non verrà mai risolto, perché è una questione di privacy, nata l'anno scorso o giù di lì quando si è scoperto che i militari Americani usavano strava nei vari avamposti in aree di guerra, quindi sostanzialmente disegnavano il perimetro delle basi militari. Non mi sembra che sgranando il dettaglio per gli utenti non registrati si risolva il problema, ma a quanto pare per Strava così è sufficiente a non tiarsi addosso problemi vari.
Su un qualche forum avevo letto di un metodo per arginare il problema con iD, però non è così banale, bisogna fare il login su strava, copiare delle stringhe di testo dai cookies di strava e incollarle nei cookies di osm. Ovviamente ad ogni scadenza dei cookies il procedimento andrebbe rifatto e dal mio punto di vista non ne vale la pena.

Ciao, è parzialmente vero che non funziona più. É diminuito decisamente il livello di dettaglio della heatmap, ma per avere un'idea della "forma" della strada va ancora più che bene, a patto che ci sia un discreto passaggio di ciclisti/podisti. Ho usato il livello personalizzato https://heatmap-external-a.strava.com/tiles/ride/hot/{zoom}/{x}/{y}.png?px=256 , se nel link appena sopra sostituisci "ride" con "run" vedi la heatmap dei podisti, alle volte fa comodo passare da una all'altra, perché podisti e ciclisti spesso percorrono sentieri diversi.
Se usi JOSM il link è leggermente diverso.

Ciao ad entrambi, dalle immagini aeree Esri Clarity buona parte di questi "sentieri" risulta essere strade ad uso agricolo, li ho quindi convertiti in highway=tracks. Occhio inoltre a questo tipo di strade, perché quasi sempre in prossimità delle cascine diventano private e altrettanto spesso ci sono cani. Per il primo caso esiste i tag access=private. Come sempre eviterei quindi di mappare ciò di cui non si conosce lo stato attuale, in qualità di volontari non siamo pagati a numero di punti/strade che aggiungiamo, meglio aspettare sei mesi (in attesa di riuscire a fare un sopralluogo) prima di aggiungere una strada rispetto ad inserire informazioni che potrebbero risultare sbagliate (strada franata/invasa dalla vegetazione,...), perché nel frattempo le modifiche diventano visibili e chi usa la nostra mappa potrebbe decidere (esempio) di organizzare un bel giro in bicicletta sulla strada che non esiste (da noi aggiunta).
Spero di essermi spiegato e di trovarvi concordi.
Altro dettaglio, il tag name indica il nome proprio di un oggetto (strada, edificio, ponte,...). Se un sentiero è abbandonato, il suo nome non è "sentiero abbandonato", quello è lo stato in cui si trova. Quindi non va usato il tag name, ma piuttosto "trail_visibility" oppure se il sentiero è invasa dalla vegetazione e quindi inutilizzabile va rimosso dalla mappa. Mi riferisco a questohttps://www.openstreetmap.org/way/620256997, di cui magari voi avete qualche notizia recente, vedo comunque che non avete aggiunto voi il nome :)
