Hi there Joe, thanks a lot for contributing.
Please next time reply directly below my message, otherwise I do not know if you read my message or not.
That said, people complaining about this is a quite common issue but I'm not sure it has something to do with us, I mean, if in real life that road has a "NO TRESPASSING" sign on its entrance, I do tend to think that people will stay away, even if we show the road on our map, am I wrong? plus, are you (he) sure people were using our map and not Gmaps?
I do really appreciate your help here but please remember to follow the "on the ground rule", we have to map things how they are in real life. This road is likely to have a name, right? what's its name? is it a private road? if so we should add the access=private tag.
Please let me know if I can help further.
Thanks!
have a nice day!

here as well, calcetto is NOT the pitch name, it's a generic world used to describe a sport discipline like soccer but with pretty much half of the players and pitches which are 1/3 of the size of a regular soccer field.
Please remove those names, I don't get why you're putting so much effort in vandalizing our map. Let me know, I'm eager to understand that.

56254007 almost 8 years ago

do you know what "fossato" mean? I guess you don't, otherwise you'd have immediately realized how fucking nonsense it is here. All those objects you're naming "calcetto", "basket", and stuff like that don't make sense as the name tag should only be used with proper names such as Tour Eiffel, White House. Naming all those generic objects is not correct, please remove those names.
Feel free to get in touch in case you need some more help.
Thanks!

*non resident

here you did align nothing, you did replace some residential road sections with some more unclassified roads. It's not correct, those sections are clearly residential, 99% of the traffic passing through them is made up of residents

hi there, why did you replace the residential road with a track here?

hi there, welcome to osm. This one don't look like grass on the aerial imagery, please make sure your edit stay true to the reality and replace that grass tag then.

Also, sections like this one don't have to be mapped this way, it's called indoor mapping, search it on the osm wiki please

here the deletion https://nrenner.github.io/achavi/?changeset=56209009
here you did replace the path tag with the same one I used before https://nrenner.github.io/achavi/?changeset=56426467

go figure.....

56209009 almost 8 years ago

what's the reason for this mass deletion? I did spend some time adding those footways to the map and you're trashing it because "Removed Footpaths Placed on Sidwalks". Well, you just had to add the proper sidewalk tag if you thought they were sidewalks. Instead it seems like you decided to first delete my footpaths, then another mapper added them to the map and you replaced the tag he used with the exact same tag I used at first. What the heck, wasn't easier to just leave the footway I added?

56426467 almost 8 years ago

hi there, welcome to osm, please keep in mind that you're not editing your private map, you'r editing data which was added by other mappers, who did put some efforts and time into it.
I'm looking at your edits and this one looks not really appropriate https://nrenner.github.io/achavi/?changeset=56426467
You did delete a temple with some proper tags just like religion, denomination and so on, and replaced it with a building=yes + name=*. If you thought the building shape was wrong you only had to update it's shape, not delete it and add it back with half of the info it had before.
The same works for some footways you deleted and added back. Problem is, the one you added are not connected to the rest of the road network, if I look at the map I cant understand hot to get on those footways now.

cosa ne pensi?

ciao, grazie mille per la risposta puntuale. Credo sia il primo caso di masso che mi trovo a dover mappare, cerco sulla wiki se esiste un tag adatto.

hi there, I don't think it's correct to tag this one as a tourist attraction, it's a service provided by this institution, it's not a tourist attraction. It could be compared to a treadmill inside a fitness center, you don't add the treadmill to the map as a tourist attraction, you do only add the fitness center to the map. Here as well you should add the institution name. Is it something related to blind people?
