Thanks for clarifying. I've updated Line 10 route relations accordingly

Hi,
I cannot find any information about the opening of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 10 to Nanping (南坪).
Can you confirm this section is already operational?

Can you please explain why you deleted stop position of various public transport routes all over the place (including London Paddington)? Lines are still operating there

Thank you for the specific correction about the station construction instead of track.

Hi,
Busan metro line 4 infrastructure is called metro/subway but actually in OSM tagging a rubber-tyred monorail / automated people mover (APM). See monorail=* for the description on the rubber-tyred APM
What's your motiviation to tag it as light_rail?

Hallo Micha,

Hi,
Can you explain your reasoning for removing the interchange station tagging via the stop_area_group relation connecting the two stop_areas for each line?

126815597 about 3 years ago

I see. Even the other metro lines have directional "-D" and "-G" suffixes. See the list in the line dropdown at:
https://www.ego.gov.tr/en/hareketsaatleri?hat_no=B1-D&kalkis=&varis=

Still confusing that this info is only found there and in the app, but not on the actual trains or signage on the stations. So following OSM's "on the ground" verifiability rule I would lean towards not putting those suffixes on the route relation.
Do you think it would be worth aligning all Ankara metro route reference tagging to that?

In addition to a wikipedia tag linking the Persian article to the city there were also obsolete wikipedia:en and wikipedia:fa tags present. I simply removed those in my change

Hi,
I cannot find these reference anywhere on stations, trains or the timetables at https://www.tcddtasimacilik.gov.tr/tren/baskentray-banliyo-treni/
Where did you get these directional route references from?

Hi,
Did you consciously deleted the station and stop position nodes for São Sebastião?
E.g. node/6417780992/history

Hi,
Can you share why you updated network tag for Overground lines to National Rail? The smallest network these lines are part of seems to be London Overground even though this is a part of the larger National Rail network. I think it makes more sense to tag the more local network for these routes. See also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Overground

Hi Joseph,
People Mover systems have been tagged as "rubber tyred monorails" for quite some time now, see "Type of monorail" here: monorail=*#Type_of_Monorail
I think there's potential to introduce a new tagging scheme just for people movers separate of monorails, but while that doesn't exist I would stick with that also for Morgantown PRT.
Tagging the infrastructure as bus guideways like you did seems wrong since:
- There are no buses riding the Morgantown PRT
- There are no exit/entry sections to move from normal highway sections to a "bus guideway section"
- The viaduct sections of the track look and work much more like monorail girder sections
See also highway=bus_guideway

I would therefor suggest to restore the rubber tyred monorail tagging here in Morgantown.
What do you think?

Not that I'm aware of. You always have to change to metro at Adly Mansour

Should be better now 😀

Hi Max,
You added two pipeline ways spanning thousands of kilometers between nodes:
way/1089881971
way/1088308692
Those seem to be made up abstractions and not based on any Bing satellite imagery. Can you clarify what you intended with adding these to OSM? It seems currently they are more confusing than helpful in our database.

Splitting routes doesn't seem to reflect reality since it's the same train taking the whole route end to end. Creating separate routes would reflect that different routes would exist on the ground. I don't have a good idea yet on how to represent "Only this section of a route is part of HSL network" in OSM data, I'm afraid. I'll do some more research on various OSM Slack and forum channels to find if any option is out there.

What's the data basis for these untagged ways and buildings in the middle of nowhere in Canada that are not visible on any satellite imagery?
