| 89846126 | over 5 years ago | Poorly tagged and seems to be a home office anyway, doubt it belongs in OSM anyway without the copyright issues. |
| 79851825 | over 5 years ago | Hey, thanks for this. Do you know if there is a cycle path along this Stafford Road? |
| 89457346 | over 5 years ago | Is this an actual place? |
| 87243345 | over 5 years ago | Why do you keep commenting on the neighbours? What has it got to do with the neighbours if someone starts a business? > 'Licensed Adult Shop' displayed on them. Your example just says "private". As does the one I checked. I can't verify either is an adult shop, just local knowledge. Are we to assume every shop with fascia saying "Private" is an adult shop? > Mappers going out exploring is what sets us apart from other maps. Any yet, Google has survivors, OS has survivors, Apple has survivors. What sets OSM apart is the licence and the community, and I would argue the licence made the community. I'm stopping now, you can just delete it. |
| 87243345 | over 5 years ago | > verifiable business
I think it's a beauty shop, by appointment only. It probably doesn't have any fascia, and I don't think that should exclude it from OSM. |
| 87243345 | over 5 years ago | > any other domestic dwelling This doesn't seem to be domestic, everything points to it being commercial. > expect to pass Cosmetology Hub We have no information it say it isn't signed, and there is a fix me for mappers. > Notes like this should not be acted upon
I disagree, that not only extend the divide in map quality between areas that a few heavily active mappers live, and the rest of the world.
|
| 87243345 | over 5 years ago | OSM is a map, and if somebody looks for directions to "Cosmetology Hub" and doesn't find it they will be disappointed/use another map. Maybe using `shop=beauty` is wrong? |
| 87243345 | over 5 years ago | The website given describes this as a "boutique studio", that sounds like customers come here. So I would argue it does belong in OSM.

| 87221928 | over 5 years ago | Hey, can you just confirm that this name has actually changed on the bus stop? We try to map the world as it is, not as it will be once they finally update the name. In this case we don't want a user on the bus waiting for the stop "Rosie Lea", but the announcement says "Hobler Inn" so they miss there stop. |
| 87221971 | over 5 years ago | Hey, I've undone this edit as the "ref" on a postbox isn't meant to be the postcode. The postbox it's self should say the ref, and it helps us know if we've got them all mapped in OSM. Welcome by the way. |
| 31472917 | over 5 years ago | @SomeoneElse What's the correct way to map bicycle_parking? Presumably the one you linked should be operator=Tesco Express not name=Tesco Express |
| 83049734 | over 5 years ago | Hey, when adding disused:amenity, you also need to remove amenity=post office. And in this case I think you could have just deleted it since the address data is on the building no data would have been lost. See the disused now after, #87234785. I probably should have removed the name too, or moved it to old_name. |
| 83202090 | over 5 years ago | Are you sure there isn't a post office inside this Costcutter? [pol_branch_list_2020‑02‑20](https://osm.mathmos.net/postoffice/branch/135721) says there is. |
| 66451443 | over 5 years ago | Hey, in this changeset you removed the postoffice from Wheatley Drive. Are you sure?
|
| 75324187 | over 5 years ago | I've added it and a note/2222380. Thanks |
| 75324187 | over 5 years ago | Hello, in this changeset you partially deleted Bristol Sweet Mart. I assume it closed, or looked closed. However a few days after you removed it supposedly had an inspection from FSA, implying it's still open. https://ratings.food.gov.uk/business/en-GB/385083/Bristol-Sweet-Mart-Easton Are you sure it closed? Or if you are local could you check. Thanks. |
| 83151947 | over 5 years ago | node/2833635810 didn't have its address data on the building. |
| 83151947 | over 5 years ago | Hey, just to let you know you deleted some useful address data in this changeset. node/2833635810 could have just been tagged as disused instead of deleted. Keeping addresses in OSM helps with routing. |
| 85934650 | over 5 years ago | I actually used "Esri World Imagery (Clarity) Beta" not Bing |
| 84824446 | over 5 years ago | It would be awesome if you could place it more accurately. Thank you. |
