Are you sure this was "Morrisons Local" not "Morrisons Daily"?

Thanks, I've fixed them. (I don't like the Morrisons website!)

Are you sure there is an M&Co here? note/3748211

Hey, to remove brands you either search for the POI category (eg convenience store) this should remove old tags related to the old store. Or scroll down and manually edit the tags.

I've removed the Centra tags in changeset/145902148
If you know the new name/brand please add it or let me know and I will

The edit was made using JOSM and it's Conflation plugin.

Was this meant to be Taco Bell? Or should it have been TacoTime?

:) Not my most embarrassing typo, but it's here for life.

Hey, just a heads up but you lost some address data in this edit. I've fixed it in changeset/144465459#map=19/33.46904/-112.22301

Hey Dave, please try to keep your edits productive. This kind of noise isn't and is possible to cause edit wars.

If you want to change the definition of the website tag to for any generic website related to the brand. I suggest you try to get consensus with local mappers and the global tagging community. You can reach them on mailing lists and the community forum.

Hey Dave, please try to use changeset comments. Have you done this in other edits?

Hey Dave did you know you have deleted one in this?
node/2072603786

What was your source for this?

143875553 about 2 years ago

Hey Dave, please try to document the sources you've used so other mappers can validate and improve the data. As I'm sure you're aware you can so document sources on the changeset level or on the feature level. Have you forgotten to do this in other edits as well?

source=*

I was showing friends how to edit with Go Map :)
Clearly not my usual editor.

But that isn't related to the individual object.

You could add brand:website=https://www.poundland.co.uk/ but personally I don't think it's worth our time to add and maintain when it's available via Wikidata.

Nice, if you have a valid source for that, make the edit. Thank you.

The date I added to them was the OSM last edited, with some kind of local knowledge (not blind tag changes from iD, not building changes from aerial imagery). That can sometimes be hard to tell from the object history.

The idea is that OSM consumers and editors can be aware that the data is old. StreetComplete is a great example, it will ask the user to confirm it's still there/what has replaced it.

Hey, unfortunately iD doesn't remove tags when a business changes, so you have to do it manually. I've fixed this one in changeset/144377111#map=19/53.78471/-1.07010

That they are suspect. I couldn't find them on https://locations.99only.com/

144329965 about 2 years ago

It was an issue because a mapper felt strongly that there local shop had a different name to the rest. So I just avoid that drama.

NSI and iD will normalise the name and category overtime, or now I've added `brand:wikidata` someone can do it easily.
