I am the person who labeled memo #1998102.
Now, the problem in Liancourt Rock(In Japan '竹島(Takesima)', In Korea 独島(Dokdo)) is still continuing. I suggest that 竹島(Takesima) is used when this Openstreetmap is used in Japanese, 独島(Dokdo) is used when this map used in Korean and 'Liancourt Rock' is used when this map is used in other languages excepting Japanese and Korean. After the problem was cleared, this island should be called the right name which is Takesima or Dokdo on this Openstreetmap, I think.
