Perhaps a "broken line" indicating that this part of Sainte-Elzear is different. Anyone interested in using it would probably look up the maps legend to find more details.
I don't think completely removing it makes the map more accurate.

This is disputed territory between the towns of Carignan and Saint-Bruno, but currently is still part of Carignan. See:
