about 1 year ago | Hi! Thanks for your contributions. However, your edits are non standard. Please do not add service roads as parking spaces. Also, since the cycleway is not separated from the road here, you should not create a separated way for the cycleway. The tags were already set on the road itself. I will revert this changeset. Please take the time to read the wiki before doing more edits. Thanks and have a good day!
about 1 year ago | changeset/158491446 connected the access service road to the main road as you asked. However I still think it is far fetched and the angle is too large. I still would like to know more how this intersection was flagged in your software. Thanks!
| 158280735 | about 1 year ago | Fixed as you asked for in changeset/158491231

about 1 year ago | The issue associated with moving the main road toward the shop access road is that it would create an artifical angle which could cause some truck routing softwares to think the turn radius is very large, when it is not. It is preferable to keep the main road angle as close as the real angle as possible. I understand that adding the connection between the main road and the shop access road is artificial too, but it concerns a less important road (the service road). Can you explain how this intersection was tagged as problematic? The service road has the access tag set to "customers", which should make sure routing engines do not use it for through traffic. Please explain which bug/issue this configuration caused exactly in your software suite. Thanks!
about 1 year ago | Haha! Merci! Good catch!
about 1 year ago | HI! Please do not add cycling path as separated ways when there is no physical barriers or curb between road and the cycling path. A flex post bollard is not considered a barrier so should be mapped on the road itself. See the cycleway tags on the road way. I will remove the separated way and try to add the info related to the cycling path on the road itself. Thanks!
about 1 year ago | Excellent merci!
about 1 year ago | Super pas de problème merci!
about 1 year ago | Pour quelle raison ce lien cyclable a été retiré?
about 1 year ago | Please do not map temporary construction restrictions. OpenStreetMap is for permanent features and road networks. The rule of thumb is that, for any detour/closure less than one year, you can add a note with dates, but please do not change the network or add blocks because it will likely be forgotten when the construction works will be completed. There are other tools you can use to add construction/traffic and other real-time/temporary layers on top of openstreetmap layers.
about 1 year ago | Same thing here, a driver coming out of his/her driveway can continue to take the ramp here.
about 1 year ago | I added it back with restrictions and oneway to make sure routing is not broken here.
about 1 year ago | Hi! Please explain why you removed this access to the shop? Now a car going from the shop to Chemin Saint-Marie can't reach it and must turn right on Boulevard Saint-Charles and make a large detour, which is not what would happen in real life. Customers can and would continue straight on Chemin Sainte-Marie at the traffic light.

over 1 year ago | I agree with most of this. However, you can always use the placement tag to specify how the line is drawn related to the lanes (middle_of/left_of/right_of/transition)
over 1 year ago | I was having the idea that it was preferable to align roads on the motor_vehicle lanes instead of on the overall center for navigation/routing reasons. Is there a reason to center geographically on the overall width of the street instead?
over 1 year ago | Thanks! Perfect! I updated the alignement with the new Mapbox aerial photos.
over 1 year ago | Au procès-verbal du conseil municipal de MHM, on dit sens unique entre Marseille et Jean-Lecompte seulement. J'ai corrigé. Si le sens unique va vraiment jusqu'à Sherbrooke, prière de le mentionner ici.
