The name Complexe sportifClaude-Robillard is already set on the area. Please check to avoid duplicate naming. The name must be at a single place only.

Cycleway was already mapped as a lane. If there is no physical separation between road and cycle path, please use the cycleway:lane tags instead. Has a separation been built recently? Flex posts and bollards are not considered permanent separation like a fence or concrete.

Please be careful, you seem to have added some non existing traffic lights (example at the intersection of Avenue Grey and de Maisonneuve), at least there was none in late 2022. Also, please check how to map precise traffic lights with directions when sidewalks are present (place the traffic light at stopping line).

I lloked at the munich airport and separated the aprons like they did there. Thanks for the suggestion!

it was mapped like this before. I just realigned the apron alongside grass. It would be possible to separate it from the taxiway, but there is no clear delimitation on the ground for such separation.

1) There are official geodesic points all over the Province of Quebec, precise to the cm. This data has been used to calculate the shift of Bing Maps in the Montreal region, which is indeed 0.6,-1.54. See https://geodesie.portailcartographique.gouv.qc.ca/ for the complete list. Any precise alignment in osm should be discussed before doing it if the person editing does not have access to official positioning data. All our positioning is based on the official geodesic data and should not be moved. Also, there is no such thing as distinct alignment of buildings and alignment of ground objects. Buildings must always be aligned on the ground, so everything is aligned on the same ground base.
2) I do not care how parkings are mapped, as separate polygons or one huge polygon, because most of the time, we add the capacity to it, but at least it must be connected to a street or service road otherwise routing engines cannot know where is the entry point of the parking. Having multiple connection is fine, but having none is problematic.

Thanks for your understanding and thanks for editing OSM!

Also, parking lots should be connected to roads at at least one location, but usually at each possible entries. You don't need to change what was done here. Parking lots can be joined to parking aisles and service roads.

Thanks for the update.
However, please make sure to connect access aisles to roads and use this offset for Bing imagery in the Montreal region: 0.6,-1.54
Use the "Adjust Imagery Offset" tab in the Background right menu to add it.
I fixed the alignment and added the missing connections.

Thanks!

Please set the pools as private (access=private) to be sure nobody counts them as accessible public pools. Thanks!

CHSLD Saint-Joseph-de-la-Providence is already mapped. You only edited a pedestrian crossing. Not sure what you were trying to edit.

Nice jobs around Vaudreuil Thanks! I added addresses to your new added houses in the North on Chemin de l'Anse.

Official name of the park is Notre-Dame-de-GrĂ¢ce. There is no such thing as Girouard Park there. Be careful when taking names from Google or external source. They may be erroneous.

Hi! Make sure to put the offset 0.6,-1.54 to Bing Maps (in iD, use the Adjust imagery offset tab in the Background menu on the right). This has been verified with official geodesic data. Thanks!

Please revert this changset. You deleted golf data, which still exists. This A13 proposed is non official and there is no way it would pass through the Mirabel airport anyway. Please revert every changes you made as soon as possible.

This section of the tunnel is closed for a long period of time, that is why it was set as construction. Can you explain why you reverted it back to a standard motorway?

132561889 almost 3 years ago

You do not have to specify entrances if you draw new buildings, but when the entrance has been already added, it is preferable to put the addr tag on the entrance itself, because a lot of buildings have multiple addresses at distinct doors/entrances. In this region, every residential building with at least 3 flats have been drawn already with entrances, but they may be missing addresses. However, we will import the addresses very soon from official sources, so you may let the addr tags empty in the meantime.
