Please keep our notes there, since it is used as an official database to choose which paths should be added by the municipalities.

Please keep the crossings at each intersection, otherwise pedestrian routing will be broken (if you use a routing engine to go from rue Resther north of Saint-Grégoire to Rue Resther south of Rue Saint-Grégoire, it will make a long detour to Saint-Hubert or Berri, which is non realistic. Unmarked crossing are especially made for this. Crossing is legal at almost every intersection.

Please keep street names on sidewalks and crossings, otherwise routing for pedestrian will become unusable. Thanks!

The previous alignment was done with precise Géodesie Québec aerial photography, which is aligned by official geodesic points and data.

136487992 over 2 years ago

Please be careful when realigning data, since Bing aerial photography are misaligned. You should use the offset 0.6,-1.54 in the Montreal area in the id editor

They could be mapped as building=shed, which would be correct

Also, please do not delete precise mapping of buildings (we were careful to map the clubhouse buildings precisely with aerial imagery, why did you deleted it and recreated a rough version?)

You added trees as buildings. Please use the correct tags for trees and/or wood (natural=wood)

This changeset breaks the water polygon for ake Saint-Louis. Please fix or someone will need to revert.

Is there a reason why mulitple values on the entrance tag is not accepted? There are a lot of hosues with a unique entrance for both the residents and the customers (hirdresser or home offices) or barns/farm building where the pedestrian entrance is also the garage door.

Please do not remove road building passages. And also, the buildings were already aligned with official geodesic data.

Please do not remove cycleway connectors. This will make routing for bicycle problematic.

Ok, so this is legit, but please add a website, and some description, so other editors don't think it is ponctual information.

If this is recurrent or permanent, please add more information, like a website or something.

Please don't add ponctual meeting points. OpenStreetMap is for permanent data and not for specific events information. Thanks!

I am a research associate in this lab and the main OpenStreetMap editor in the team, but some times, there are students adding or validating data to.

Here are all the cases in the montreal area:

Please read this thread: https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/use-of-bicycle-designated-vs-bicycle-yes-outside-of-germany/3230/47
especially this part:
"However, because OSM-Carto puts the blue color on any path marked with bicycle=designated, I think it will continue to reoccur where people will use this tag in order to show a particular path as a bicycle path, irregardless of legal status."
