Boundary wall ceases hereabouts

There is a boundary wall along the perimeter of the brownfield site, which was the boundary wall for the former Albert Road School. It features low-lying stone walls capped with concrete and metal fencing along it; these are interspersed with tall columns that are higher than the fence, consisting of stone, masonry blocks, and concrete. The fence is red, which was the main colour of Albert Road School's uniform.

This plot of land is the former site of St Maughold's R. C. School (also called St Maughold's Junior School), which was demolished in 1990. It sat as a derelict brownfield for many years with an old school bus dumped in the middle. Part of the site has been used for the current garden centre.

The section of this site that is not occupied by the garden centre is brownfield. It is currently bounded off with security fences.

There are remnants of the old metal fence which formed the boundary to St Maughold's school along here, including parts of the gate posts. These are interspersed with the boundary fences for the garden centre. There do not appear to be any fence remnants beyond the garden centre's boundary.

There is a boundary wall here made of Manx stone. It was previously the boundary wall for St Maughold's school. As noted, there is currently a gate through the wall from the garden centre.

Heritage lamppost hereabouts. The space around it is also a marshal post for the TT.
