OK, First day with Open street maps and I plotted my apartment as a castle, got a username and login for OpenStreetMaps - got the iphone app for POI locater which will be on the web instantly, but will take some time to verify.

Looks as thought we can get some sort of functionality for this but the graphix of this route may be the ultimate holdup...
