the walkway should connect to the street

Hi! I can't figure out how to edit the map, so hopefully some nice person can help me. When I'm plotting a running or cycling course in runkeeper (or on some other maps) if I check the "snap to roads" option, aldea will not connect with the Orange Bus Line. So, I'm mapped way around when this intersection is right near my house. So, essentially, this intersection needs to be edited so the bike route is not so disconnected from Oxnard. There is about 1 foot of dirt between the bike path and Oxnard, they are both on the same level. So, there is no barrier between hopping on the bike path from Oxnard at this intersection or anywhere along this street. Thanks!
