I'm not against reverting this change, but I thought it was a slight improvement, especially given that the Wash is a rather large bay and doesn't seem properly serviced by a node. Would you rather it followed the real coastline if it's an area?

It's not accurate at all. I was merely following what seemed to have been done with the North Sea multipolygon which is to very roughly trace around the coastline. I could have joined it up with the real coastline (recently imported from OS OpenData), but nothing else is done like that so I just copied how other bits had been done.

I didn't see any discussion about using nodes. That doesn't seem right to me and even a very rough area seems better.

Ah yes, I see. It was originally tagged simply as a nursery using a multipolygon and then later another polygon was drawn over it with the building=yes tag on it.

I've fixed this now and put the tags on the multipolygon.

Yeah but "coffee shop" is usually an amenity=cafe is OSM anyway. In this case it's definitely a cafe primarily. An example of a shop=coffee in Norwich would be the Strangers shop just down the way from the Strangers cafe.

Little Red Roaster is an amenity=cafe rather than shop=coffee, I would say.

Assuming these new parallel rails are correct, should they be tagged railway=preserved? At the moment they look like mainlines.

Note that OSM should be based on reality, not technicalities related to government funding, though.

This whole section of road has confused me from the beginning because it looks redundant. Trunk traffic from the A47 eastward leaving to get into Norwich could potentially avoid the A1194 completely by taking the third exit, then right at the lights, then first exit. But the signs very clearly guide you to take the first exit and go around the A1270/A1149. I suppose it's to relieve traffic at the traffic lights.

So I do believe trunk is correct.

This edit removed the name from Norwich Toys'R'Us. Have you surveyed it to confirm the sign has been removed? We have a note on the map because the sign is still on the building as far as I know.

I do actually agree with keeping them separate. I've just always done it this way because having a node roughly somewhere in the building isn't very nice either. Ideally I think it would be mapped as a relation: the building is the only physical entity, then occupiers would just be added to the relation.

It is the sole occupant of both of them, but I don't know if it is the owner. I'm happy to revert to separate business nodes and buildings.

It is a fairly painstaking semi-manual effort to merge the OS water and unfortunately they come with no indication of what type of water they are (ie. lake, river, stream, ditch etc.) I've made every effort to merge the import properly with any OSM data that is already present but this one obviously slipped through.

What is the reason for adding "National Park" to the name? I've never seen it called that and it's not even a National Park technically.

I'm not sure about this change. I can see that it looks redundant having the name on the route and the ways, but I would argue that locally the way itself is known as Marriot's Way, rather than it being a route comprised of many anonymous ways. There is still a route called Marriot's way which sometimes uses sections of other ways.

This presumably automated changeset introduced at least one false positive. I know it's old but I had to go out and survey to find the false addition today. I'm sure there are still more on the map.

I suppose the main difference is the biergarten actually *is* the pub, while these type of beer gardens are just attached to a pub. You get your beer inside then come out to drink it. But I agree that the description sounds a lot more like a biergarten than a nice English one. Times change indeed...

Sure this is a biergarten (German style) or is it a British style beer garden?
