| Google Doc Summit 2011 | I really hope that Google at some point drops Mapmaker for OSM. |
| render stop signs etc | Well, the current tagging scheme for stop signs is ambiguous and not all-inclusive yet. |
| Informacion Uruguay | Spam? |
| Texas state routes done... | Are we talking /just/ TX routes, or are we including NASA, Rec Road, Loop, Toll and Spur as well? |

| OpenGayMap.Info - LGBT map | Seems counterproductive. As a bisexual man, I tend to find the thought of "separate but equal" establishments to be somewhere between counterproductive and offensive. Counterproductive because it encourages GLBT folks to be subjugated by the heteronormative mainstream. Offensive because it promotes the idea that sexual orientation is a lifestyle in and of itself (for some, of course, it is; it's called nymphomania, and there's help for that regardless of orientation). Coincidentally, I find "pride" events to be not only offensive, but intentionally offensive by design. Sexuality isn't a lifestyle, it's a facet of a complete, healthy lifestyle. I can't stop you from using such tags. But I believe doing so is an attempt to snatch bigotry from the jaws of acceptance. |

| DISPECERAT TAXI DEVA 0254-234 567 | Wow, surprised this spam has stayed up long enough to get picked up by google... |
| cant | For whatever reason, the powers that be consider this a feature, not a bug. Frustrating. By the way, nice buddy pic...just like bears, or is there a furry or animist connection? |

| MapDust cleanup | The speed of Mapdust's web interface is why I suggested using the GeoRSS. It's much faster. Likewise, so is using the Mapdust plugin for JOSM (use it in offline mode, then switch it back to online when you upload to dump all your offline contributions back to Mapdust). Mapdust is the preferred bug tracker for MapQuest and Skobbler, probably the two most widely used data consumers for OSM at this point, so it's the best place we can get feedback from those outside the core community that are actually using our work. |

| OSM-PH tagging suggestion | I'd drop the name=X as well, unless it's one of those hipster bakeries that feeds on being vague. |
| Heads up TriMet | @Sundance: I'm not even sure filling in nat_name when all it does is reiterate the ref= is useful in the slightest (especially in I5's case, the nat_name would more likely be Pacific Highway, and the ref and nat_name would more properly belong in a relation) |
| Heads up TriMet | @Wynndale: Not that I'm aware of. People seem to fill it in to satisfy renderers. |
| The White House uses OpenStreetMap | This has been the situation for some time now (like, shortly after Obama took office). Also, it's not whitehouse.org, it's whitehouse.gov. |
| Imagery sources | I wonder what happened to the advanced data sets that navy.mil had up...I liked having access to Portland's bicycle map and lot maps... |
| Google is pirating OSM | This naming glitch doesn't appear in Tiger, no, and Google previously did not have the name stylized in the same manner. |
| How to map loading docks? | This might be a question for help.openstreetmap.org |
| Attention Armchair Mappers! | @alexz: Both, since different areas have different rules regarding maxweight. |
| Attention Armchair Mappers! | Yes, Compdude, I'm sick of descriptionless or overly-vague mapdust bugs. |
| iOS: You Need A Map - free during april :o) | But OpenStreetMap contains the US census data, and in most cases, improved upon the Census's low accuracy rate. |
| | Reddit? That site's so over. |
| OSM Blankets !! | I want to be a stubborn McDonald's owner who never participates in any promotion. Want a Big Mac? We don't have it. But we do have spaghetti! And blankets! |
