Hi. I doubt if the bridge is formally "bridge" so I've removed it. Also the node you added joined the footway to the stream, this would be called a ford but I doubt if this is what you intended. I've removed the joining node, sectioned the footway to provide a section spanning the stream. This spanning section has tags added of bridge=yes
layer=1.

I hope this helps and shows how to map a bridge.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
Yes the building is the super market and the building outline is tagged as such with other relevant data. Thus your new POI is duplication of data, so I've removed it.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know Way: 871356746 is a strange shape. Way: 295505731 looks like hedge or woods rather than industrial. These two ways are joining/overlapping paths and areas as well.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
Actually White Farm Lane and School Lane are private roads, access=private indicates that the road is not to be used by the general public. Although services and visitors use the roads there is no stated permissive access. There is designated access on foot on School Lane an on White Farm Lane as far as School Lane. There is informal access (which could be termed permissive) from school Lane east on White Farm Lane to a footpath linking to Henby Way.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

I just wanted to say pretty good mapping. Also to mention that some tags are implied by their absence, covered=no and oneway=no are examples that are not usually needed as when absent they are implied.

I squared up the buildings in your other changesets and tweaked Paverly Court areas.

I hope this is OK, Regards Bernard.

Hi, OK. I don't use Facebook maps but I know it utilises/uses OpenStreetMap maps. I think Facebook intended to say you can report something wrong with the map here by adding a note to the map rather than a comment.

A comment is a directed at a particular edit/contribution asking that contributor to please have a look at a possible anomaly.

A note is a flag/pointer placed on the map asking if someone, (anyone who might be able to help) could look at a problem at the flag position. The facility to place a note is on the right side of this page, second box up. Click the box, accurately position the pointer, write in the text box what the problem is. It's important to place the flag accurately and describe the problem so someone else can understand it. The note stays until someone resolves it.

So I'll help if I can. Can you say what the problem is and where it is? You can place a note, (as described above) and then post the link to the note here. I'll be notified of the comments on this page here.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
If you've verified on the ground that this now officially a cycleway then the tag proposed:highway=cycleway can be removed.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
I've made a few amendments to your mapping to suit OSM practices. Addresses, areas and road connections.

Oh, are you saying Facebook is wrong? If so it's nothing to do with this OpenStreetMap site.

Hello Layny68,
I'm sorry I don't understand what you're saying, could you explain further please? These edits are nothing to do with Bristol or Maldon.

Hello kreuzschnabel,
The area Edge End Moor was tagged as heath but is wholly within the heath multipolygon Relation: 3203037. So being a duplication of the already tagged heath area I tagged it as farmland. (On reflection it might be better described as landuse=meadow.)

So Edge End Moor area is within an area tagged as heath, I've changed the farmland to meadow and added natural=moor.

Hi, I just realised you might have meant the barrier to be at the level crossing. It was actually at the road junction.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
I've removed the two track names you added as they seem not to be formal names but rather descriptions. The access=private tag indicates that all access is private.
I also removed the tag barrier=Private_electric_gate that you placed on the public highway. That indicated that no traffic could pass along the unclassified road. It looks like there could be a barrier a few yards into the track. If you need help please just ask.

OK no response so I've reinstated it.

Hi, you made lots of duplicated highways and areas here. I think I've corrected them all and made some self-intersecting areas into multipolygons.

Hi, as said above some of your edits are incorrect and could be viewed as vandalism. I've looked at the ways you added and have removed several duplicated highways.

Hi Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
I'm afraid the description tag, nor the name on its own will be much help in aiding delivery's. Much better to to draw the house and tag it with a full address.

I've drawn in some building, perhaps you could tag the houses building=house and add the address. Need help just ask.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

I wonder if the path is really a cutting as regards OSM? Please see cutting=*

Hi, your steps and paths at Waitrose don't seem to make logical sense, there are differing levels tagged and I presume differing layers but their all joined together.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

By deleting all the buildings and re-drawing them you have removed all the history of the mapping of the buildings going back several years. It is OSM practice to where needed amend/correct the existing mapping, thereby keeping all the history and adding your new history to the database. I notice you used Bing imagery as a base to map the buildings, please be aware that any imagery may be offset from reality.

The Only way to reinstate the history of these buildings is to revert the changeset, then amend/correct the reinstated (original) buildings. If you need help please just ask.

Regards Bernard.
