Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap.

An unclassified road is usually open to the public as it is publicly maintainable, I think Way: 659163592 is a made up service road that was originally marked as a track, (please see SCC Definitive Map).

If access is private there's no real need to further state it in bicycle, foot etc tags. Just state what access is available. I would have thought that in this instance access=agriculture, this infers that the only access is for agriculture.

Hi, that postcode is 3.7 miles away at the other end of The Manorway. Here osm.org/go/0EEypaja1-?node=6167763534
Do you need help moving the node?

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap.

I don't know where your company is based but it certainly is not here on a grassed area of highway landuse.

If I can help please just ask.

Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

A mooring, such that I think you are trying to depict here, is meant to be mapped as a linear feature rather than a single node or POI, please see mooring=* though there are acceptable exceptions to this generalization.

I cannot see reference to this site on the GOBA web page and Google does not show the feature, has it been built? Perhaps you could draw it? In any case it would need to have at least a mooring=yes tag.

I have added website, mooring and description tags. If I can help further please just ask.

Hello, my apologies for breaking stuff, that would never have been my intention.

By my changeset comment I would have thought I only intended to remove a duplicated node (which I've done often).
I have tried reverting that changeset but it only reinserts the duplicate node back into Way: Millgate (44335369).

I've spent a while investigating and find that the day before Alma Terrace was dragged out of position. I reverted that changeset then dragged Alma Terrace back. The terrace was not joined to Millgate.
It must have been myself that inadvertently deleted the way though I can't think how I made the mistake. I hope you agree it looks OK now.

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap.
From looking at your website it appears you've mistakenly placed your cab company in a car park at the wrong end of High Street North.

There's also no need to place a lengthy advert in the description tag, especially as the info is contained on your web page. This is at best spam and only serves to unnecessarily bloat the OSM database.

I've added amenity=taxi tag and made a couple of tag amendments. If you need help positioning the POI please just ask.

Hi welcome to OpenStreetMap.
the spam is removed from the description you uploaded to OSM. Replaced with see website which says it all without bloat to the OSM database.

Hi, I've removed your way "128 via Park and back to 128 (655207895, v1)" because it appears to be a personal route tagged as path, it also duplicated other ways.

You can save personal data like this route offline but being fiction to other OSM users it should not be uploaded.

Hi, if the pub building is still there but not used as such it is recommended to tag it disused:name=??? and disused:amenity=??? Thus the history is retained and other folk won't be inclined to map it again. If it reopens the tags can then again be amended.

Please see disused=*:

Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
The cycle way you added, Way: 655677304 doesn't look right being placed over what looks like trees and gardens. It is not joined to the highway network at either end and crosses one service road again without joining it.

Hi, I've put the de-fib location tag on the de-fib POI.

It would be good if you could join the POI to the library outline in it's exact position and mark the library entrance. Phone number and access times are also good.

Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

I see you have added the tag "name:ro=East Ham" to this bus stop. May I respectfully point out that East Ham is not the correct name for this stop neither in English or Romanian. East Ham is actually a long way from this place.

The English name for the stop is tagged as "Bank Station / Threadneedle Street" this translates to Romanian as "Banca / Strada Threadneedle".

For this reason I have removed the incorrect name tag, if you wish to add a correct Romanian name please do so. If I can help in any way please just ask.

Hi, it is removed, OSM seems to be very slow at re-rendering right now. Please have a look again tomorrow and reload that tab or refresh the page (F5). The changes won't be seen on other sites or maps until they update their data to the current OSM data.

Regards Bernard.

Fixed to best OSM tags.

Hello, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

For Lasting Beauty shop should the tags amenity=fast_food and cuisine=sandwich be removed or amended?

For the Campwood Press should the tags building=office and shop=vacant be removed or amended?

Hi, after no response I've reverted these changes because they are at best duplication with less info than the existing feature.

Hi freebeer,
I have no problem with that except that it doesn't give the newbie much encouragement or ability to learn from their mistakes. There wasn't any serious disruption here, no vandalism, so these mistakes could have been left awhile. I always return to these after giving the newbie a chance to respond, then if there's been no response make the appropriate amendments/reversion. Or hopefully help them correct things. That's why I took the trouble to politely set out the mistakes that had been made.

Regards Bernard.
