This looks like an online business, OSM only accepts physical, verifiable, on-the-ground features. The website does not seem to show any physical address, certainly no link to London where the POI is situated. For these reasons, I've removed the POI.

Hi, Same as with the bridge, only one highway along any given line. Split the original highway where the designation/description changes. The section of highway is tagged to its highest status (highway=service + service=driveway) then the other tags are added indicating the other uses (public_footpath, foot designated). Another example, a section of farm track with a public bridleway could be tagged as access=agricultural
bicycle=yes (because cycling is usually allowed but not designated by statute)
designation=public_bridleway
foot=designated
highway=track
horse=designated

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that when a bridge is added to a highway you need to remove (section off and cut out) the piece of path that the bridge is replacing. Otherwise as in the case here you're making duplicated highways, which messes with routing.

No problem now though, I've removed three duplicate sections of path.

Hi, please be careful not to join landuse areas to highways because in this edit you joined Way: 1012473487 to the A98 Way: 370615054 and dragged the A98 out of line making a self-intersection to it.

I've corrected the self intersection of the A98 and unjoined some areas from the road center line.

Hi, Uploading temporary stuff to OSM is wrong and not allowed. OSM is a database for compiling maps, anyone downloading your temporary data will have corrupt data on their complied map.

You can make test/temporary mapping with the JOSM editor without uploading it. This can be done with JOSM completely offline, saved offline to your PC so you can use the temporary data as you wish.

Hi, Sorry to say that you need to remove the duplicate highways completely, not just remove the golf tags leaving the highway as a duplication. I thought it best to make some amendments as I found them as they are many and varied. Easier to do than to explain them. Hope that's OK.

I've removed highway Way: 1011449229, tweaked the car park so as not to join to any highways. Tweaked car park service roads. Removed duplicate Way: 1011449230. Removed unnecessary nodes and squared up buildings. Removed duplicate Way: 1011449231. Removed duplicated Way: 1011449232. Amended some existing highways. Removed self-intersections from Way: 1009728264.

Hi, The other day mapper GinaroZ drew a footpath across the landslip stating "description=landslip - cautiously and carefully passable on foot only." So it looks like you may be able to pass walking with your cycle. I'd suggest you contact GinaroZ at "@GinaroZ2 to see if he can confirm you can pass pushing a cycle.

Hi, You've mapped service highways Way: 1011449229, Way: 1011449230, Way: 1011449231 and Way: 1011449232 on top of existing highways making for duplication. It is OSM practice not to duplicate highways and if there is a highway atop of another they should not be joined and should be differentiated by a layer=? tag.

It's OSM practice that if a way needs correcting/amending then the existing way is edited with the correction/amendment. Thus the history of changes is maintained.

You've also drawn a building Way: 1009728270 around an existing building, adding the tag layer=1 to the existing building. Way: 1009728270 does not look like a building and ought be amended or removed.

Do you need help removing the duplications and making corrections?

Hi, Thanks for responding.

First off I've rolled back your three changesets to the state as before you tried to correct things. Now we can see that mapper eteb3 made the change in August 2021 to split Moll Road and place barriers at the split ends of the road. From several imagery layers, (if you zoom in), you can see that the stream has washed away a section of road, and earth barriers have been made to safeguard the road users from going over the edge. I have no idea if this situation still exists or if the road has been repaired.

A search of the internet https://tinyurl.com/yu6y5mbf seems to suggest the road is obstructed until further notice. I think the best way to find out the status of the road is to contact the The Highland Council, https://tinyurl.com/3a9ztcnd

Unfortunately I think you'll have to make a detour. If I can help further please just ask/comment here.

Hi, Unfortunately, some sections of the Eday Walk that you've added are duplicating existing highways. Not only is duplication incorrect but it really messes with routing software.

The best way to add a route like this is with a route relation. Where necessary sectioning up sections of existing highways and add them to the route relation. All data pertaining to the route is held in the route relation. The route name should be in the relation not added to individual sections of the route.

The duplicate highways should be removed and the existing highway amended if necessary. Would you like me to add the route relation?

Your edits here don't look correct. You've mapped 3 fords, is this correct?

The linear ford, Way: 1011042572, doubles back on itself and has an extra duplicated node which is incorrect mapping.

I interpret "Deze weg is niet onderbroken" as meaning "This road is not interrupted". So is the road interrupted or not? Is it interrupted by 1, 2 or 3 fords?

If you have recently visited here could you please explain what the true situation is? I could then probably correct the mapping.

Hi, I just wanted to point out that you've, quite likely inadvertently, placed a footpath, Way: 1010211240 on top of the existing highway Way: 367825101. Thus making for duplication of a highway. It's the same situation with footpath Way: 1010211243.

I've removed the two duplicating highways and amended the existing highway to suit your new data.
