over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. You inadvertently dragged a building and highway out of shape, I've amended them back to the original shapes. Also tweaked the house shape. Please take time to check your edits before uploading. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap. Was this addition a test edit or just fiction? Do you need any help? I've removed the POI. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, I've removed Way: 934042105 as it was placed on top of an existing highway. I've already explained the problems this causes. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | No response and you've made a further similar duplication so I've removed Way: 933602881 Need any help please just ask. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap. There are many problems with cycleway Way: 934042104 It is mostly placed on top of existing highways making duplication of highways and thus disrupting routing. If a way needs correcting or amending you should do this to the existing way. The problem of duplicated highways was pointed out to you on Changeset: 103361875 which you have not addressed. So to avoid the problems this duplication causes I've reverted the changes. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, You have placed Way: 933602881 on top of Way: Rainham Road North (4877181) making for duplication of highways. This is obviously incorrect and disrupts routing, the Way: 933602881 should be amended or removed. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | OK, that's a valid reason. The barrier actually means that no traffic including taxis can pass through. So the taxi=no tag should not be applied to the rest of the highway, thus I've removed it. Could you state what traffic is allowed past or through the barrier? Because as tagged now nothing is allowed through not even pedestrians. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, bridge tags on whole length of path removed, access tag removed (there is access). The path goes under the railway so tagged as tunnel layer=-1
over 4 years ago | Hi, there is foot access to the path. Therefore it can't be access=no as that means there isn't any access at all.
over 4 years ago | Hi, Sorry for being late to respond back. I've now tagged it as shared-use foot and cycle. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your new building OM Interactive, as mapped within an existing building should be tagged as building:part=industrial because it's a building part within an existing building. As drawn it is not a building independent of any other. However, when zoomed in the imagery is good enough to separate the building parts. So I've separated and re-drawn the sections of buildings. I also amended the address. Regards Bernard.
| 103284075 | over 4 years ago | Hi Del, Wards are not often added to OSM but I could see this didn't look right. So I looked for an example (relation/1736022). You can see the tags I added for Hylands Ward by clicking on the link to the way below. Sorry but I know nothing about Raspberry Pi so I can.t help there.
Regards Bernard. |
over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I've tweaked the ward boundary tags to suit OSM practice. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi. Duplicated highway removed.
over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I don't think Meducate occupies the whole of the building as you indicated by tagging the large building. I've drawn in what looks like a separate section to the north end and placed the Meducate tags on it. If this is incorrect please amend it or let me know. I also amended the address tagging to suit OSM practice. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. As it's tagged barrier=yes means there is no access through or around the gate which I doubt is the situation. Could you please tag what the barrier actually is and what access is allowed through or around it. Also sometimes emergency or council vehicles are allowed. Types of barrier are explained here:- barrier=* If you need any help please just ask. Regards Bernard.
