Duplicate highways removed, incorrect highway lines amended.

Unfortunately, your edit has inadvertently made lots of duplicated highways. The reason being that you've placed a lot of paths on top of or right beside existing footways and tracks. Please look here to see what I mean:- tinyurl.com/qnbwq6vt zoom into the blue triangles, they are all duplicated sections of highway.

I wanted to let you see what's happening but realise you may not be happy correcting the problems. As every added section of path is a duplication (or near duplication) it would be best to revert the whole changeset. Would you like me to do this?

Please don't make any more edits till these problems are rectified as this will exacerbate the situation.

Hi, you dragged a section of highway out of shape and moved traffic lights down Harley Street. No problem though I've made corrections but please be careful.

If the phone box remains its a valid feature for the OSM database. I've reinstated it and tagged it as description=Red phone box with telephone removed, disused:amenity=telephone.

Apologies for interfering. I've reverted my changes so you can now see the self-intersection of Way: 901759841 to the west. When I removed the self-intersection JOSM reported buildings within buildings, this led me to think there was duplication. If the whole block is one building then Way: 901759841 should be extended to cover the whole building footprint. You are correct that the internal or elevated sections of the building should be termed building:part. Please see building:part=*

The building parts can be tagged as to their use (roof garden), address (for different towers), also levels and or layers can be added. This does get a bit complicated though.

Hi, I've reverted your changes to the road and junction because they seem dubious.

I added the building by your shop POI, perhaps you could reposition it over the correct house. I've added the address and website to the POI.

With respect, if a feature is on the ground then it's a valid feature to be added to OSM. So there's no need to remove something like this. If the feature needs amending/correcting it's OSM practice to do this to the existing feature. So I've reinstated the path and amended the tags to access=forestry, highway=track. I've also added the public footpath.

You've connected track Way: 900892148 to two streams without either a bridge or ford. You also connected track Way: 900892135 to a boundary line instead of the nearby highway Castle Lane.

You are still duplicating sections of highway, please stop.
