about 5 years ago | Hi, I'm sorry but it's not rendered properly on osminedit. It renders with the steps greyed out on levels 0,1 and 2. It needs to be mapped with all 3 levels of steps drawn and then each line of steps joining to one path level, rising up to join the above path level at the other end. The differing path levels must not be joined but be a separate way directly on top of (or under) the other ways. The map is rendered from birds eye view. As it is now if you can imagine tilting the building all the ways will be joined together. It should be drawn such that when imagining a tilted building, the paths are all separate with the steps going from one level of path to another level of path. I hope that makes sense. Regards Bernard.
about 5 years ago | Hi. It looks like you've got both lines of steps joined at each end to paths at level 0, 1 and two. Can you really go up one flight of steps onto paths on 3 separate levels? Doesn't seem logical. Regards Bernard.

about 5 years ago | Hi, For me it will always be Boadicea, that's what I was taught at school. That was a long time ago though and it seems historians have now changed their minds but still don't agree on the actual spelling. The Lost Byway website calls it Boudicca’s Obelisk so I'd agree with that name. Regards Bernard.
about 5 years ago | Hi, The reservoir is already mapped and tagged in the polygon Way: 461536475 Your POI name would actually be a description anyway. I placed the operator and tag on the polygon then removed the POI as it's duplication of data. Regards Bernard.
about 5 years ago | Hi. Are you sure you've now spelt it correctly, whatever your preference I think there should be a 'u' in there. Regards Bernard.
about 5 years ago | Hi, you're quite right and I've no idea how I managed that. Amenity and date tags are removed from both paths. Regards Bernard.
about 5 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. So is this actually a recycling container? If not then it ought be removed. Regards Bernard.
| 94141880 | about 5 years ago | Hi. I doubt if the bridge is formally "bridge" so I've removed it. Also the node you added joined the footway to the stream, this would be called a ford but I doubt if this is what you intended. I've removed the joining node, sectioned the footway to provide a section spanning the stream. This spanning section has tags added of bridge=yes
I hope this helps and shows how to map a bridge. Regards Bernard. |

about 5 years ago | Hi, I just wanted to let you know Way: 871356746 is a strange shape. Way: 295505731 looks like hedge or woods rather than industrial. These two ways are joining/overlapping paths and areas as well. Regards Bernard.

about 5 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I just wanted to say pretty good mapping. Also to mention that some tags are implied by their absence, covered=no and oneway=no are examples that are not usually needed as when absent they are implied. I squared up the buildings in your other changesets and tweaked Paverly Court areas. I hope this is OK, Regards Bernard.
about 5 years ago | Hi, OK. I don't use Facebook maps but I know it utilises/uses OpenStreetMap maps. I think Facebook intended to say you can report something wrong with the map here by adding a note to the map rather than a comment. A comment is a directed at a particular edit/contribution asking that contributor to please have a look at a possible anomaly. A note is a flag/pointer placed on the map asking if someone, (anyone who might be able to help) could look at a problem at the flag position. The facility to place a note is on the right side of this page, second box up. Click the box, accurately position the pointer, write in the text box what the problem is. It's important to place the flag accurately and describe the problem so someone else can understand it. The note stays until someone resolves it. So I'll help if I can. Can you say what the problem is and where it is? You can place a note, (as described above) and then post the link to the note here. I'll be notified of the comments on this page here. Regards Bernard.

about 5 years ago | Oh, are you saying Facebook is wrong? If so it's nothing to do with this OpenStreetMap site.
