Hi, you placed part of Way: 803060759 on top of part of Way: 732249377. I've removed the duplicate highway section and tagged the service road to accommodate the RoW.

Hi, I removed a couple of duplicated highways here. Way: 803365344 and Way: 803365343

Hi, Please be careful to join your paths to the highways they meet, I've just made three joins. I also remove a couple of untagged single nodes.

Hi, Sorry I'm late getting back to this.
I've now remove the duplicate sections of path, tagged the relevant highways as designation=public_footpath
foot=designated
highway=service
bicycle=no
horse=no

I had to tweak the lines a bit but I think it's OK, please have a look, let me know if it needs changing.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

Yes you inserted the bridge OK, the problem was with the path. I've joined the path Parson's Drove to the road Parsons Green. All is OK now.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

Re requested review.
Your fictional area of sand covering many other features in that area has been remove.

Hi, Regarding the BT Openreach building.

It is OSM good practice not to delete and redraw features that need amending because all the history of the previous mappers and their amendments are lost. Better to amend/edit the existing feature, the history of your changes will then be added to that feature in the database.

I have made a few amendments to show how features are better represented. I squared up the building, then removed the incorrect section of the footprint outline where you attempted to section off the internal area. Then added the internal area, a courtyard squaring it with the building outer line. Then created a multipolygon relation of the two areas to show the building with a cut-out interior section.
Please see this page for how to create buildings with internal cut-out areas (multipolygon relations) :-https://learnosm.org/en/josm/josm-relations/

Hi, I moved the building outline to coincide with it's footprint rather than the imagery roof position which is offset.

Hi, All looks good now.

Just a couple of pointers to maybe help in the future. If you get a similar problem again cancel your upload and try to get the interfering changes reverted before making any upload, else you end up with conflicts (possibly compounded conflicts). In the mean time JOSM allows for you to save your changeset layer and upload it after you've got problems sorted out.

Lastly for entrances it's better to tag entrance=yes (main, service, whatever) and ref=B, You then get a proper icon instead of a dot.

Best Regards Bernard.

Hi,
Will you be removing the duplicated building outline contained in the multipolygon relation?

This is why it's not a good idea to make large change-sets.

I just tried to revert the changeset but it results up conflicts and warnings. I would think that you have made some changes from when I made that last changeset.

Do you want me to try and resolve the conflicts?

Hi Chris, I've divided the building, amended the addresses and put a note to explain the reason of the building division. Please see if you agree.

Regards Bernard.

85078681 over 5 years ago

Yes I looked up the postcodes.

It's difficult to see where the division is so I've guessed at a split and uploaded it. What do you think? If it's OK I'll amend the address.

Your query regarding the OSM search, you have to search for what is in the database. SE96BT is not in the database and is an incorrect postcode. Postcodes must have a space between the outward and inward sections of the code, SE9 6BT is in the database and returns Campbell Court.

Hello Chris, There's two ways to do that. One is to map/mark all the entrances and tag each entrance with the correct address and all apartment numbers. The other perhaps easier way is to section up the building on the division the the post code takes and address each section of building.

Are you local, would you be able to advise where the division should be or where all entrances are. Plus apartment numbers for each area/entrance.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
I removed the new building, there's no building at that position. Did you mean to add a building on the site just to the north of Embry Road?

Regards Bernard.

Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

You seem to have added footpaths Way: 802004779 and Way: 802698664 on top of an existing highway Way: 10425498.
The existing way you changed the status from unclassified to path adding an unnecessary tag oneway=no. The two footpaths are tagged differently.

The existing highway is a service road which also serves as a public footpath. Could you please rectify these problems?
If you need help please just ask.

Regards Bernard.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
Unfortunately your edit to OSM resulted in the deletion of a long bridleway as well as several minor amendments to areas and roads. Your addition was tagged as manmade=cutline which from imagery seems fictional. I think you might have been meaning to add a track to the map.

In order to reinstate the bridleway and other alterations to existing features I have reverted the changeset.

If you need help correctly adding a track or anything else to the map please just ask.

Regards Bernard.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

If the roads are open for public use then the construction= tags should be removed.

The Maxar imagery, which you can use in the iD editor is much more up to date. You can see there that some roads you've amended are drawn going through houses, (Spriggs Street, Davey Road).
