Hi, You have duplicated two section of highway on the roundabout Way: 690971090

Way: 671268876 and Way: Gallions Road (690971092) have the duplicated section of highway.

Also Way: 671268876 is not joined to Way: Gallions Road (799672).

These inadvertent anomalies will cause problems with routing. If you need help please just ask.

Regards Bernard.

Hi, If the building is still there then it should not be deleted from the database. Rather the tags should have been amended to show disused shop and name, maybe also adding shop=vacant.

If you need any help please just ask.

Regards Bernard.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

Are you sure you've got the building level tag correct for the three apartment blocks? Please see :- building:levels=*

If there is a ground floor, first floor and second floor then the tag would be building:levels=3

Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

I wonder can these areas and names be verified on site by other visitors at any time? Please see :- osm.wiki/Verifiability

Which states "A tag/value combination and geometry is verifiable if and only if independent users observing the same feature would make the same observation every time."

You could tag these areas as pedestrian adding surface and access tags with a description of "CFCF Red Road Dance Spot", and giving the times/dates of use as such.

Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

By tagging Castell Grove as oneway=yes, and not having it as a through route you are implying that vehicles can drive to the end but cannot return. If the way will eventually be a through route please consider highway=construction until the route is finished. If the way is a cul-de-sac the oneway tag ought to be removed to allow two way routeing.

Sorry this is the node, Node: 6476145274

Hi, what form does the barrier you tagged on this node take, is it a gate? Also what access is allowed/disallowed? Without this information the barrier tag is not much use.

Hi, please see this page on defibrillator tagging :- emergency=defibrillator

It is especially helpful to describe the location. i.e. Seen from road, cannot be seen from road, inside red telephone box, on wall beside hall entrance. This is to allow quick and easy locate the defibrillator if it's needed. You could always look at how other such features are tagged. It's important to exactly plot the feature and join it to a wall or place it inside a building.

Hi,
There are two PRoW here :- osm.org/#map=16/52.6501/1.0611 running east to west, Six Acre Lane (prow_ref=Runhall FP 18) and Reeden Hall Lane (prow_ref=Runhall BR 2). Both names are shown on the OS OpenData StreetView imagery. These are formal names and are not to be confused with Local Authority references. Info on Key:prow_ref is here :- prow_ref=*

The correct parish and highway ref numbers for Hertfordshire can be found here :- http://webmaps.hertfordshire.gov.uk/row/row.htm?layers=[1:0,1,2,3,4] zoom in and click on a coloured line. A lot of Local Authority's put the parish and path number on the finger post where a path leaves a road, this is not the name. It's merely a reference like a road number.

If there are other instances of PRoW ref's being used as a name they also are incorrect and ought be amended.

If I can help at all please just ask.
Regards Bernard

Hi welcome to OpenStreetMap.

For information Public Bridleway 32 is not a highway name, it's a Public Right of Way reference used by the County Council.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

You added the cafe name to the whole building outline. The cafe outline is mapped on the ground floor within the building and already has the name. So I've removed the duplicated name.

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap.

The tag you removed, waterway=dock is the correct tag for this feature, please see waterway=dock

Any features tagged only as natural=water (the tag you added), have nothing to describe the type of feature. These water body features need to be tagged natural=water with an additional descriptive tag like water=pond to describe the feature.

The tag waterway=dock assumes and implies that the feature is a water feature, thus no need for the additional tag natural=water.

There are thousands of instances of features tagged waterway=dock please do not amend/remove them to suit a particular renderer. They render correctly in most software. Instead please consider getting the renderer you use corrected.

I have reinstated the dock tags.
