Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

I'm sorry to say that you have added your data to the outline of the whole corner building. This building is part of a multipolygon consisting of three inner polygons and one outer polygon, you changed it all all four areas are inner polygons, thus there is now no outline.
The address for the whole block is now 29 Finsbury Circus. The site of your company has not actually been positioned.

May I respectfully suggest that your changes are reverted and an outline or POI be mapped to correctly position your business. You could look at other businesses in the block to see how it's done.

If you need help in any of this please just ask.

Regards Bernard.

Hi, duplication now removed.

Hi, problems now repaired, removed duplication, added bridges and made gaps in hedges.

Sure, ways now separated for you to see duplication. It's the short section of footpath that was on top of Braeside, near Cottesmore Road.

Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

I see you have placed your new POI node on top of an existing POI node named Hedox Clinic (Broadgate Spine & Joint Clinic).

Some details of the two POI are identical , phone and address. Are there two clinics? If the new clinic occupies the former clinics premises then the former POI should be amended thus keeping OSM history intact.

At the very least the two nodes should be separated.

Regards Bernard.

Hi, No problem, the duplication is still there, can you see it? If not I could separate the two ways so you can easily see the problem.

Hello Estelle,

The easiest way from comments like this, or when you are given your changeset number is to just look at the list of ways below. Click on the way and it opens the link. Or what I do is right click and open it in a new tab.

Only slightly more advanced, look at the browser link for this page, it ends as /changeset/65163500 that's the link to this changeset page. Insert the changeset number you wish to look at, bingo. For Way:477705335 the link is way/477705335

So just open any openstreetmap.org and amend the link address to add either "/way" or "/node" or "/changeset" then the number and go.

Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

You've drawn your new area, (without any descriptive tags), over existing buildings, also joining one corner to an underground railway. As such it cannot be used in any meaningful way by OSM.

If you could explain what you wish to achieve maybe help could be offered. If the area corrected then it ought be removed.

Regards Bernard.

Hi, footpath section Way: 477710027 is actually a duplication, the footpath is drawn exactly on top of an existing section of highway.

Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

May I just point out the bridleway, Way:477705335, you recently amended the line of, crosses over Way:477707698 without joining it. I think there might also be missing bridges where the Way:477705335 crosses ditches.

Hi,
Sorry about that, you are correct and I've changed it.
It came about by my separating the scrub area from the meadow area, (which was one self intersecting meadow polygon). Thus initially making it into two landuse=meadow areas, I changed the tag value of the small area but forgot to change the tag key.

Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

Sorry to point out that the war memorial is already mapped (Node: 365776926 node/365776926). Thus your new node is duplication and ought therefore be removed.

I've now added a description, inscription and website.

Regards Bernard.

Hi Jenny, personally in this instance and after looking at the website, I'd just rely on the website. If any times alter you don't have to remember to go back to OSM to make amendments.

Sorry, the problem with the opening hours is that it is restricted to a festival period, not open all year round as the tagging indicates.

65042701 about 7 years ago

Hi, the Vintry Garden park is already mapped so this outline is really duplication. It is also a temporary feature so not really verifiable as such to add to OSM. Maybe a tourism POI would be better, lastly the opening hours lack the correct syntax.

Regards Bernard.

Hi, your opening hours syntax is wrong for OSM. Unfortunately they are to convoluted for me to work out a correction.

Hello, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

You inadvertently added bridge and layer tags to the road, theses tags are on the actual bridge. I've removed the unneeded tags from the road.

No response so I've amended the addresses. Regards Bernard.

Hello, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

You inadvertently added your new POI to a wood outline and removed the wood description. No problem though I've reinstated the wood and placed your new info on the building that has the POI address (South Hollow). I also added the website and phone and made South Hollow the address name.

Regards Bernard.

You now have 4 almost identical POI in the same position. I have researched the person to verify the address then repositioned the correct POI to that address. Then removed the other 3 POI.
